She would be a shy girl, but she has this irrational a fear of curtains. So she doesn't have any on her window. She never closes those if there are and she can't remove them completely.

She never close shower curtain either, she will prefer to see the rest of the space, even be seen, than close the curtain and fear the monster about to grab her through it, or whatever it is how it manifests.

She can't close the curtain of the changing booth at the store either.

Of course, people would think she's just a weird exhibitionist or even easy and inviting. At some point she just decided to own that.

LOL. I was sure there's a typo and it should be 'cartain' phobia. The ideas seems silly, but I'd like to see it realized.

What's "cartain" besides a specific type of curtain, as seems from the results of my quick googling? And why should that specific type of pleating curtain be more fearsome? (I don't speak English btw)

Fear of curtains is a thing. The proposed character would have it at extreme levels, but...

Just last weekend I visited a house with no curtains anywhere (for a grand jubilee of the lady of the house), and didn't even notice before it was pointed out by another guest, after a conversation about our host's childhood fears that included curtains. I knew her well, and she never had it to where it would make her problems in society, but indeed, her house has no curtains still.
