Advanced Search down?

I noticed that it seems that the "Advanced Search" is not available.

I use Google Chrome from a laptop.

When I go to the search page and click on the gear icon, nothing seems to happen.

It used to expand a section where one could supply additional search criteria like "search for stories submitted within the past week" or "sort by date" or limit the search to a subset of categories.

Is this a bug or is advanced search going away?

I just tried the one on the story side that I rarely use. Works fine for me, criteria section expands. Might want to try a browser that isn't inherently spyware.

It seems to expand if I have logged in. It does not expand if I am not logged in.

Do you have a suggestion for a non-spyware browser?

I have the same exact problem on the latest version of Chrome and Firefox. Logging into the main site fixed the problem with being able to use the advance search options. Logging in on the upper right of the search page returns an internal error.

Might move onto Brave or something else if this is a problem related to only Chrome and Firefox.

Whitelist the search.literotica.com domain in your script blocker. ( Possibly your ad blocker, because those sometimes class the weirdest things as ads )

Someone else had the exact same problem a day or so ago, and that was the solution.

Make sure you refresh the page after making the change.

Thanks for the advice. I tried it and still no go with advance search options and closing the webcam top banner, unless logged in. Disabling ublock didn't work, nor incognito window. Refreshed windows, restarted browsers, and even restarted the system. Still no go on advance search options unless I log into the site.

Seems like there was a script change but I don't know. There's no script blocker on any of my browsers. Checking site settings shows that everything is on default and ********** is enabled. Odd.

I have the same problem with advanced search and I cannot login to my profile it gives me internal application error

Advanced search only works for me when I'm logged in.

Sorry about that, we have been updating the search. During that work, Advanced Search was only working for logged in users.

It should be back for all users now.

Please let me know if you find any additional issues with Literotica Search.

Advanced search is very much working. I am on a windows DELL laptop using Microsoft Edge.

Also, you can use google.com to search. Most of lit is cached there.
