Funny things is I started out doing comic book stuff in high school, its been a long time since I did anything serious though. Are you looking at a graphic novel kind of thing or sporadic illustations for a text novel?

A graphic novel. Probably graytones or black and white for general publication - possibly colour for collectors or limited edition.

I suggest that you look at the sticky thread "erotic artists" and see if any of the illustrators posted there tickle YOUR interest.

Black Snake's example has good commercial potential. (I think that was meant to show his interest)
A "Graphic Novel" these days can have all sorts of looks...not limited to the hard edge comics of the golden days. Many are painterly or very rendered.

How many illustrations per Novel? Time seems so much a factor for people on LIT. We spend so much time reading and chatting on the bulletin boards we cannot squeeze in any creative work!

I agree with Dark-glasses. If thats Black Snake's work, he would be the best bet as quality finished work goes.
