Adopted Story: Tomb Raider Adventures

I suppose most of you can guess what this story is about:
Lara Croft getting into a lot of different sorts of trouble while travelling the words.
Fighting against invisible burglars, evil conspiracies, corrupt government officials and plain old thugs.

I'm writing along several story-lines at the moment, and would like
some suggestions concerning how they are to develop.

Three storylines concerns Lara going up against a world-spanning organisation known as The Hand, which earlier sent out an agent to retrieve one of Lara's artefacts.
However, the agent fucked up (literally) and Lara was able to pump him for information (again, literally), finding out where the Hand's headquarters is located, in a place called the Valley of Temples, from which the storylines seperate regarding where this valley is located.
First, we have Lara in Africa (Sudan), where she in one storyline has just been arrested at the airfield by some corrupt Customs Officials, (http://www.chyoo.com:81/index.php/main.story.page/44643/) what are they to do with Lara now?
Second, Lara got past customs without any problems, but was attacked during the night, she manages to shoot her way out of the town, and is driving into the African wilderness(http://www.chyoo.com:81/index.php/main.story.page/45267/44539).
What is she to encounter there?
I'm anxious to write something about Lara in the hand of hulkish natives (several 3D renders depict her in just that situation), but I need to get to her being captured by them first.

Then, we have Lara in Afghanistan, where her jeep has broken down and she has trekked across the land, finding a deserted village just around sundown.
What does she encounter as she moves into the village?
