I'm no fan of this "therapeutic" and "rehabilitation" society, but I do think that psychotherapy has SOME value, so I will admit to MY phobias and urge others to admit to theirs.

My phobias: Dirt, Germs, Disease, Urine, and Excrement. I wash my hands 2 or 3 times after using the restroom or coming into contact with anything dirty, IF I have any time to do so.

(Strangely, I don't fear blood for the most part.)

While not a fear, frogs and toads are not welcomed within a 30 foot radius.

Heights, closed-in spaces, ventriloquist dummies, flying, driving, snakes, sharks . . . . then again, I do have general anxiety disorder, so I might not be the best person to ask. ;) I'll stop while I'm ahead. Suffice it to say that a lot of things make me nervous. :)

heights and depths *shudder* my worst nightmares include falling from a high cliff into a bottomless lake *shudders more*

Just heights. Not really afraid of anything else. Not really phobic. I am a well adjusted indivdual. Of course I am taking psycotropics right now.

Just so you know, unless some infection is present urine is sterile. I would still wash your hands after you go to the bathroom and everything though!

As far as I know, your urine is only sterile to your body, no one else's. It's part of why female genital piercings tend to heal rather quickly...
No, it's sterile. All it is made of is water, sodium, and vitimins and minerals your body did not absorb. There is kind of a joke with one of my nursing instructors that Americans have the most expensive urine in the world. We buy all these multivitimins, and then piss them out. If your ever stranded somewhere w/out water and dehydration is a concern you can drink urine to sustain yourself. Kind of gross, but true.

Drowning. Not death itself, just the drowning part.

And spiders (although that's lessened considerably over the past few years).

Sorry, I STILL have a urine phobia. Oh, and I forgot about my claustrophobia.

I have a very strong fear of abandonment. I will do most anything to prevent it, which ironically, usually causes it to happen.

On a different note, large crowds usually make me feel claustrophobic.

Perhaps you were abandoned in a past life? Sometimes, I think that phobias are connected to reincarnation. Of course, in my case, it is more about my childhood illnesses (pneumonia, bronchitis, double pneumonia, etc.). I tend to mentally associate dirt, urine, excrement, etc. with disease, which I hate with a passion.

Not sure if it's actually claustrophobia, but any kind of confinement freaks me out in the worst way.

And she's always on top then. ;)

I think I was abandoned in a current life. ;)

I'm a bit of a clean freak, but must admit I only wash my hands once after using the bathroom. I do think our phobias are linked to something that happened in our lives. I've heard tell our fetishes are as well. *shrug* But I'm no Freud.

"Blue water swimming". aka Swimming in the deep ocean; all I can do is wonder what lies beneath.

I have two phobias - one is of flying, and the other is of doctors, dentists, nurses etc. I once fainted during a visit to the doctor's and ended up crushing a nurse in the process
