is my take

anything that turns language around--makes a reader have a fresh perspective--is a good thing in my book. What you're talking about--strings of adjectives preceding the noun--can be, to my thnking, just another level of cliche.

It's also an argument for editing one's writing. I might not catch an adjective string when I first write something, but I would likely catch it on edit. It's never too late to edit.
