Add about 2 to 5 words to the poem. Keep it brief. Try to keep it interesting. You can add more once someone else has a turn.
Reason? Just for fun and just because I was fooling around on those playground game threads. And the poetry forum is slow.

First line:

The last sun

The last sun
died out today.
Goodbye shadows on sidewalks.
Goodbye cowering biomass.
If life were easy
We could just accept it.

( I dig this majorly, never seen a poetic exquisite cadaver before. )

A couple of years back Lauren Hynde organized an exquisite corpse challenge. It was a lot of fun and I think I have one of mine on the desk top hard drive.

The last sun
died out today.
Goodbye shadows on sidewalks.
Goodbye cowering biomass.
If life were easy
We could just accept it
and let the dead pass

The last sun
died out today.
Goodbye shadows on sidewalks.
Goodbye cowering biomass.
If life were easy
We could just accept it
and let the dead pass
underneath a regimented sky

The last sun
died out today.
Goodbye shadows on sidewalks.
Goodbye cowering biomass.
If life were easy
We could just accept it
and let the dead pass
underneath a regimented sky
into a shallow soil embrace
