I woke, my head was spinning, my stomach felt as if it was tied in multiple knots, and my body felt as if I have fallen hundreds of feet to the ground without a parachute. Slowly I pushed myself up to a sitting position moaning as the pain coursed through my body. I slowly opened my eyes, the light causing my head to pound even more, but I had to see where I was for the air smelled of wet wood, and wild orchards. I looked down and to my surprise I was no longer wearing shorts and a tank top, instead I was attired in reddish-brown leather armor. ‘What the hell is going on?” The last thing I remember was Tommy telling me that my character was awoken in the woods by the sound of running feet and someone calling my name. I look up from my attire and realize with horror that I was in a heavy wooded area and off to my right I could see a man slowly standing and swaying as if he had the same illness as I.

I push myself up and allow the spinning to slow down before attempting to move toward the man. My mind spinning with uncertainty of where I was or how I got here. I began to relive what happened from the time Tommy called me and told me that the gang was going to be playing D&D this evening and wondered if I would come over and play the newly formed mage to fill the party up to an even six players. I remember getting to his house, sitting at the table with my character sheet in front of me and Tommy telling us that the night was coming and it was best to make camp. Then I wake up here and now… What the hell!

“Hey!” I yell as I get closer to the man. He was looking around as if he was confused and lost like I was.. “Hey!” I called out again..

Lance groaned, lifting his hand to his throbbing head. He paused, looking at his hand. A big thick strong hand covered in calluses. This wasn't his hand. He followed the arm arm it was attached to. Again grimacing and feeling shock run through him at the sight of bulging muscles so well Hines they looked like rocks

His last memory was gathering around the table with Tommy and the gang to play DnD. He had been reluctant to have Kayla join. But a Mage was something that they could use. Even though she was barely level two. And now this?

He swung his head around, taking in his surroundings when he saw an elf in leather armor. Armor. Elf. What the fuck!

He quickly got to his feet. Stumbled and almost fell barely catching himself on a monstrous sword

"Holy shit" the he likes back when the elf called to him. He slowly gathered himself

"Who are you" he yelled a she began to move her way. His head swiveling back and forth as he took in the forest around them. Hadn't Tommy said they were in a forest?

There was no question to the man’s symptoms. He was obviously in the same boat as I was. Tilting my head a little, I did notice a few things about this man, he matched the character description of Lance’s dungeons and dragons character. I instantly reached back and pulled the ponytail forward so that I could see and to my shock I was a blond! What the hell?

When I looked back up the man was now looking at me and addressing me, I didn’t know if I should respond with my real name or my characters name. I decided to use my characters name. I’m Kayla and you are? I knew it had to be lance but for my amusement I was going to mess with the nerd! He always rubbed his IQ into our faces well it was time to show him he wasn’t all that smart on every topic.

I took the few moments to look about our area, I was hoping to see the others somewhere near us, but to my disdain there wasn’t anybody else from our gang here. Maybe I’m just having an anxiety attack and none of this is real! Yeah that’s it, none of this is real. I will wake up on the couch with everyone looking at me dumbfounded and wondering what the hell I was spouting off about being my character in another world!

“Come here!” I tossed out as I was making my way toward him as well. He was a perfect match to the way Lance described him, That out of balanced body, the Neanderthal’s mentality, and I could smell him from here!

The blond elf was exactly what he would imagine Kayla to want her character to look like. Way too put together for a level two. But that was the least of his concerns.

"Yeah I'm coming. Do you see anyone else?" He asked as his body slowly came under his control. His eyes scanning the woods and the hills.

"What the fuck is going on and why are we the only ones here?" He asked in a deep booming voice as he mad his way over to the delicate looking elf. This was just too fucking weird

"I mean where is everyone else that was playing? And how the fuck do we get out of her. Knowing our DM we are moments away from something attacking and without the rest of us it's not going to be an even match. Of course that is just assuming we are stuck in our game." And letting his eyes wander over the well built, and rounded, elf. There was no doubt where they were, fuck how they got there

“Not so loud!” I look around the area searching to see if anyone heard the big buffoon, to my short glee it appeared that no one or thing heard him, But what he asked me, I have asked myself at least a dozen times since I seen him wrestling to get up on his feet. Where is the others? My mind still playing the same tune. Fear spread across my chest and squeezed me like a Boa constrictor. I started to breath at a quicken rate, frantically looking around for anything that would give us somewhat of a clue.

I noticed the gaze of Lance over my elven body which ended my fear and filled me with anger. “Do you mind!” I huff and turn away from him, knowing damn well he was now check out my ass. “Look, do you remember where we were in the game? wasn’t we on the way to the city of Greyhawk, Dallas, ehh Brac had that ad wanting adventurers to take care of a few goblins at some mining cave or something like that?” I asked while scanning over the plains. Off to the east there was a heavy tree line of a forest. To the north was mountains far off, and to the south and west was plains. “So do you remember the world of Greyhawk map?” I was hoping since he has played many more times than I.

I begin to think of how the others would respond being in the same state of confusion and then actually thinking like their characters. Going to Greyhawk seemed like the only best option for at least there would be shelter and a means to take care of themselves. “Lets make our way to Greyhawk. I suggest walking one way until we met someone that can give us directions.” I look over my shoulder at him..

He chuckled, when she snapped at him for his gaze.....wandering a bit. He couldn't help it, he'd never seen a hot elf in real life before. Well this wasn't exactly real life, but it was as good as

She popped up and headed off, revealing what was an ass tightly wrapped in leather. Wow he was gonna like this. Of course as soon as he took a second to take in where he was and what she had said they were in a life and death situation and in a place that should literally have him scared shitless.

He stood up and followed her

"Yeah we need to head south along the plains. The city is near the mountains, but set in the plain" he told her as he caught up, marveling at his physical prowess as he looked at his hands and arms, he reached back over his shoulder and drew the sword. It felt natural in his hands, not awkward like he had expected.

"This is beyond freaky" he said as he looked at the blade.

"But I guess we need to know how to use these." He said as he re-sheathed the glimmering blade, then began to rifle through a leather ouch at his hip. It had all his items he had remembered from his character sheet. Even the ring

I turned toward him, head tilted slightly to the side shaking my head. "Men and their toys!" He did have the right idea, I've been so distracted on what was going on and where we where, that I didn't even check to see what I had or if I could even use it if I had it. But still, did he have to act like he was some big mocho grande guy with a plaything!

"You may have that equipment and that body, but who's to say that you know how to use it! I really don't think we want to try and find out. so please put the damn thing up and lets get to the city were their are men who know how to use a sword and can offer us a safe place to stay." My anger flaring not for being upset, so that I wouldn't feel so damn scared...

I turned back toward the way we were heading. Walking a little faster for I really wanted to get somewhere safe before the night fell upon us. I was also worried about the others, hoping that they were all okay.

"Yeah your right. I'd rather not find out but I don't exactly see a bunch of gold in my pouch. Unless you've got some I think we are screwed" he said as he began to trot along side Kayla

"Besides if you recall we were actually on our way to solicit the town, you know offer to clear the cave for some gold" he soda through easy breaths. In the real worl trotting like this would have had him in the middle of an asthma attack, but here, here he felt like he could run for miles. He glanced over at Kayla

"Besides maybe some of my characters abilities will just be natural you know, just like their bodies are. It's a shame your a low level ranger though. We could definitely use a more experienced character of shit turns ugly" he said as the two traveled on

I looked over to Lance when he spoke about my character. “Excuse me? I’m a rogue thank you.” I smirk and shake my head slightly. “I think you also got your character’s intelligence roll as well!” I chuckle playfully trying to keep things on the lighter side for if I didn’t I would be crying right now. I think that is what Lance is trying to do as well. Not that he would break down and cry, but he was doing it for me. Which he would never know how much I appreciate what he is doing. I would never live it down here or if we ever got back home.

Up ahead of us was a road that shot off into the woods, upon this road a couple of men were walking our way. They were too far to get any details about them, but I was still worried. I looked over and up to Lance wondering if he had saw them too. “Lance..” I spoke but nothing else came out as the lump in my throat stopped the rest from coming out.

I slowed down to allow Lance to move in front of me even if he didn’t want to be. I wasn’t a melee fighter, I was a range fighter, so I slowly pulled the hand held crossbow that was dangling from my backpack. To my surprise I had it loaded and ready in not time. “Well, I guess that answers my question if we have our characters skills.” I show Lance my crossbow. “Do we talk, or change our direction to avoid them?” I ask, my voice tainted with the fear I was feeling..

"Right. Rogue sorry. I couldn't get past all the leather" he said with a smile, pulling up short a moment after she did

"Well I think we should simply go our own way. You know just strangers crossing paths. No reason to act weird" he said, glancing over his shoulder to see her checking her weapon

"It's too late to be sneaky though. I guess we go ahead. Just play it cool" he said, then he began to walk again, playing it cool. Even though he air he'd to pull his massive sword!

Just play it cool! Are you kidding me! My mind screamed at Lance, but my mouth said nothing but “Okay.” I eyed the big fellow with an arched brow. I shook my head slightly, ‘You don’t have protruding tits or a pussy! You big dork! My mind was screaming at Lance. ‘Of course it’s easy for you to say ‘play it cool!’ I mouth him under breath with a burning madness.

I start to get the jitters as the wagons slowly approached us. Upon each wagon there were two men in front. The canvas that covered the back part of the wagon could conceal more men laying down which would have been very uncomfortable, so my guess it must be cargo. Maybe I was just being too jumpy for my own good. So…. Playing it cool…

The wagon’s continued to approach, with each turn of the wheels more detail of the men riding became clearer. The rider on each wagon was wearing chainmail, while the driver was garbed in leather armor. There was a crossbow and a staff in between the two men in each wagon. They eyed us as they got closer. The rider moved his hand over to the crossbow, but didn’t pull it up. The driver took the staff in hand and guided the wagon with one hand.

“Lance!” I broke the silence between us…

"Just stand aside" he said under his breath. He reached an arm out and slowly stepped back, his arm out barred Layla's way and forced her back off of the road with him. He never turned his back on them, but the stepped back and away, letting the wagons pass

"See that wasn't so bad," turning, and for the first time aware that his arm had been across one full breast, he thought his arm had felt warm, but the moment was so insanely tense!

He quickly dropped his arm.

"Sorry. Now come on let's keep moving"

They weren't 500 ft down the road when they heard shouts and screaming coming from the way they had come.

"The caravan!" He said loudly as he, without thinking, quickly turned and ran back the way they had come

Another player...

Missy had asked a perfectly sensible question and Darren on the other side of the low table had just rolled his eyes.
The howling wind outside heralded the storm’s approach, and gave pause for the group to think about maybe staying here tonight.

Although Missy was new, and this was her first session, Mike had met her at work, and they chatted a little at the coffee machine, from time to time, and swapped idle chit-chat before he let slip he played AD&D, with friends, and looked a little embarrassed.
Missy perked up & surprised him by saying she’d wanted to try it, but an ex-boyfriend used to play, and it looked like fun, but he’d never let her join in so she never had the chance before - so Mike invited her, as his group of friends played at his house.
Mike, was stunned. She seemed way too cool to be a gamer, dressed smartly and yes if he admitted it, she was slim & attractive, her legs either encased in figure hugging lycra black smart pants, or a nice skirt, but she always wore either heels or boots.
He’d often wondered why he never got to date women like her!

Then his mind was back in the game, and he explained that mages can only cast magic within line-of-sight.
Steve, the GM, nodded, just as a thunderclap boomed really close by, and a flash of lightning Iit up the entire room.
Then there was a loud bang, and all the lights went out.

Mike woke up to find himself sitting in the corner of a tavern, in a rocking chair, puffing on a pipe.
He coughed and too it out of his mouth for a moment, and took in his surroundings.
There was an argument between a male Halfling bard, and a female Elf, who seemed to be asking the bard to play a song he didn’t know.

The noise, and the smell was overpowering!
It was as if no-one in there had washed for a week!
And his head was already starting to pound from the cacophony of the numerous patrons.
A buxom wench appeared, and asked him:
“Another beer. Father?”
“Hmmm?” Mike muttered, bemused as he suddenly realised he had become his character, Father Montego, cleric of Kord.
“Holy Shit!” He cursed, before adding for the wench’s benefit:
“Errr…yes. Yes please.”

He looked at his arms, more muscular than his own real ones, and covered in black-painted metal vambraces, with gold-coloured edging. He stood, and then looked down at his legs, clad in the same armour, with metal greaves in the same design. His black leather armour creaked softly as he moved, and he smiled as he saw himself as a mediaeval biker, until the wench returned and held out her hand for coin.

He felt a weight against his leg, and discovered Arindel, his hand-and-a-half mace, a trusty weapon to slay evil-doers and foul undead if ever there had been! It felt good, and reassuring in his hand.
He paid her quickly, and picking up his tankard, stepped outside, where there was a light rain, and took solace in the sudden peace.

The shock of what appeared to have happened then hit him.
He was IN THE GAME!
How in hell’s name had that happened?
Where were the others, was he the only one here?
He had been sat next to Missy on the sofa, so did that mean, perhaps that Kitara, her Mage, was here too?
He sipped his beer, as he looked out into the street, watching various people come and go, and puffed some more on his pipe, as he drank.

In the distance he could see a woman clad in robes, stumble into the street and head towards him, looking a lot like Missy had described Kitara. He watched her with interest....

Missy’s head was pounding as her eyes slowly opened. Everything seemed out of focus which made her head throb even more. She closed her eyes to try and relieve some of the pain. While she waited for her head to stop throbbing, the scent of her location invaded his nostrils, “Horses?” she muttered confused, this new fact put her into the wanting to open her eyes to see what was going on. Slowly she opened them, allowing them to adjust at the level she had them, then increased it a little more until her eyes were open and she was seeing what she smelled, A stable. “What is this? Okay guys this isn’t funny. What did you put in my drink?” she demanded to nobody but the horse that was in the next stable over. She began to turn her head a little to fast and was instantly dizzy and nauseas. “Okay guys come on, this isn’t funny, whatever you gave me is making me sick.” Still no one answered her. Then as if she was struck by lighting, her hands shot to her chest! What the hell? My tits are bigger! She glared down, eyes wide as she realized she wasn’t in the same attire that she was in during the game, she was in a white body forming dress. Her jaw dropped as she looked over herself and realized that she had the same clothing, rings and the circlet on the top of her head as her character that Mike helped her develop for the AD&D game session. She looked around and there it was her staff.. “Oh this isn’t good!” she mumbled to herself.

Pushing herself up, she grabbed her staff and the robe that was laying across it. She instantly put the robe on to cover her now chilling body. She looked about to see if Mike was anywhere near, but to her panic he wasn’t. “This cant be happing,” she whispered to herself as she slowly made her way out of the stable. Standing for a few moments to look around in hopes of seeing Mike, but was disheartened when her gaze fell upon only strangers. “Okay, think this out. Where did most people go when they first arrive in a city… A inn.” She answered herself, “Okay, now I just walk around till I find an inn.” she had her plan for the moment.

Walking out into the street, she was grateful that there was an inn just a block down. She could tell my the music and laughter coming from a well lit building. Making her way towards the building, the soft mud and her high heels made her look as if she was drunk. She continued to walk the best she could and as quickly as she could.

Reaching the stairwell that lead up to the full porch, she looked up at a man smoking a pipe whom seemed to be staring at her. “Damn, it happens here as well.” she whispered to herself. “Excuse me.” She muttered as she turned sideways to pass the man…

Kayla

I tilted my head slightly toward lance but he was to busy acting like a ground guide for a forklift driver keeping everyone off the path. I felt his arm pressed against my breast, but bit my tongue, for I would use that to torture him, by acting like I liked it only to toss him to the side when he got enough courage to make an advance on me. A small smirk formed on my face.

"Yeah, right, but that's okay, it didn't bother me.' I lied and almost gagged. Slowly turning way from Lance, I headed back on the path we were on, but then the screams and shouts began. I turned to see what was going on and I cant believe it. All I saw was lance's ass and elbows making his way toward the ruckus. "Damn it. I thought we wasn't going to test our skills till we were safe in the city." I looked dumbfounded for here I was making a statement while he was at least fifty feet away... "Shit!" I muttered as I took off behind him .... "What the hell am I doing!"

I pulled up my crossbow while I was running, hoping the hell that they didn't fire their ranged weapons first...

“Kitana?”
I asked of the woman, as she attempted to enter the Inn.
I looked down at her, not used to my towering form.
“You don’t want to go in there. They aren’t exactly civilised!”
She looked up at me, and asked:
“Mike?”
I nodded to her, "Yes, Father Montego, here."
As she pushed open the door, a small figure burst through and tried to escape.
Shouts of ‘Stop Thief!’ could be heard.
As the small figure make a break for it, I could see it was the Halfling bard, clutching a purse to his chest.

As I looked back into the Inn to see who had been robbed - the Elf I saw earlier threw her mug after the fleeing figure, but unusually for an elf it was wide of the mark, and was sailing far too close to Kitana’s head.
I caught it in one hand, and as I turned threw it at the back of the Halflings head, to which it connected with a ‘clang’ before knocking him sprawling into the mud.
The elf, and several other patrons gave chase and soon had the offender under arrest, and on the way to the Magistrate’s House.

As the smell from the Inn washed over us, and I could see Kitana’s face wrinkle in response, I offered:
"Why don’t we seek shelter in a Temple, at least it will be quiet, and we can talk?"
Just as an omen to make us decide, one of the patrons fell out of the Inn, into the gutter, rolled over and threw up.

“Hmmm, delightful!" I commented, before taking Kitana by the elbow, and leading her way, towards the Temple of Pelor I could see in the distance, its Sun symbol glowing in the late afternoon sun.

As we walked, I couldn’t resist telling her:
“You know, you look amazing in that costume. Err….I mean you look great in real life, but those mages robes really suit you. They show off your bigger ti…..ummm sorry. That was out of line. I guess the situation got the better of me!”

I carried on in silence, not believing I had put my foot in it so early on in our obvious quest to return home.
OK, so I may fancy her in real life, but to tell her that here, wasn’t really fair, or constructive.
I was so sure, she wouldn’t like me, although as a cleric of all that is honourable (mostly) good, and right, at least I had that going for me!
I didn’t think she’d find my new form at all attractive, as I bore absolutely no resemblance to any of the movie stars she would relate to back home.

At least I didn’t stink….yet. Just wait a few days for the deodorant to wear off.
(Wait – my mind told me – do I even wear deodorant here?)
Well, I wasn’t going to sniff my armpit with her standing right next to me!

Kitara

Missy was pleased that she had found Mike for now she wasn’t alone in a strange occurrence. She was surprised she wasn’t hysterical with all of this strangeness, but for some reason this felt right, where as before, over in the real world, she always felt as if she was trapped in a life that she didn’t really care for and it was a hassle going from day to day, but now she seemed …at rest with herself. She even liked the fact that she had bigger boobs and it felt as if her ass was a little tighter, not to mention her whole body felt more in shape. A win, win, for her in both mental health and physical health.

“So Father!” She turned and lifted her head to look at him. “You like my bigger tits too!” She laughed when she saw his face was slightly red, “Dear father, you look so cute blushing.” She laid it on thick as she was really feeling good about all of this. “Mike, I mean Father Montego. Do you have an idea what happened? I mean I’ve read fantasy books and have a guess that we have been gated here but do you know why? Was it just a ’a wrong place at the wrong time thing or was it meant to happen.” She wondered if she should tell him that she felt like herself here compared to over there.

“Mike,” She decided, “This may sound weird but I feel like myself here, compared to over there. I feel more relaxed, confident without trying to be and just all around me like me I’m supposed to be here.” She looked down at the ground for a moment thinking if all of that came out right to the way she feels. Yes, it did come out right, so she looked back at mike, “Do you feel as if you belong here or do you feel out of body?” she asked with a quizzical face.

Mike/Father Montego

Mike was also glad he had found Missy/Kitana. He was glad she preferred who she felt like here too. Bigger tits, firmer ass, and all….She DID look really sexy, and kind of powerful….
“It was weird at first, the first couple of minutes, I felt sick, like when you have a real bad headache, but then it started to pass. I like that I have this body, even if it is so much larger than my ‘real’ one!”

He understood how Missy felt out of sorts with their new situation, and could completely sympathise with her.

“I don’t know how well I’ll be able to fight, but let’s see if I can remember any of my spells…”

He reached down and adjusted himself, below the belt line.
“Sorry – but it seems everything about me is bigger here, including that!”
Mike/Montego blushed again even more than before.
“Oh God, I can’t believe I just told you that!”
blurted out, feeling his cheeks heat up even more.

“Let’s try the Turn Undead incantation.”
He paused for thought, cleared his throat and said:
"In the name of Kord, I banish you unholy abominations – return from whence you came!"

He felt a mighty rush flow through him, and there was a dim flash all around them, which shimmered on the air for a couple of seconds, before dissipating.

Mike/Montego stood still, and wiped his brow.
“Wow, that was a rush – let’s hope we don’t meet any undead now. I feel I used up my spell until daybreak! It seems my learned spells work here. Do you want to try?”

He looked down at her and smiled.
“I think it may be better if we just refer to each other by our character names. Otherwise it might get a bit too weird. I also seem to recall we were trying to reach Greyhawk - What do you think to both ideas?”

They were much closer to the Temple now, so at least they would hopefully have somewhere to shelter for tonight, and hopefully something to eat, however simple.

Kitara

Kitara smiled when Montego reached down and was impressed with the size of his cock. She even went so far as to follow his hand with her eyes and got the scale from comparing his hand to the bulge. When his face turned red again she began to laugh, “Montego if you keep this up your head is going to explode, and I’m not talking about the one between your legs either!” her brow arched as if she was angry. Although it has been a long time.. Well she wasn’t sure about this body so she kept that to herself.

When the cleric wanted to experiment with spell casting she turned a little pale and backed away from him. If he was wrong she didn’t want to be near him for hard telling what would happen. She stopped just a few feet away when he began his chant. Her eyes darted around the area to make sure no one was paying to much attention to them. In the books she has read, there are places that frown on wizards and clerics casting spells in city limits. To her relieve there was nobody around when the effect took and faded away.

“Montego, we shouldn’t be casting spells just anywhere, We don’t know the laws of these towns and cities.” She knew he’d know where she got this information. It just seemed right to keep their abilities at a low when in town or heavy populated areas. “I will try something in the temple to see if I can do the same thing. “ She quickly added with some excitement in her tone of voice.

She looked forward as they continued their way toward the Temple. Her eyes continued to dart about the area, looking into the shadows and over at Montego, his frame was very appealing, and well so was that results from the comparing.

Montego smiled sheepishly, and quickly moved his hand to his side, mortified she had caught him adjusting (and measuring) himself, even if he had commented on it.

He also hadn’t noticed Kitara back away when he started his incantation.
It wasn’t until he finished and the glow had disappeared, that she stepped a little closer, and reminded him that maybe, it wasn’t wise to cast within the city limits.

He nodded, suitably chastened.
“Sorry – I just got a bit carried away!”
He had forgotten himself, and she, the newer player had remembered the guidance that certain settlements banished, or in worst cases, killed magic users who used their powers in the city, unless it was for its defence.
He glance across at her quickly, and saw her looking at him with a strange look on her face, so he looked away, rather than allow his gaze to roam across her figure too, as he wanted to.

He had noticed, her robes had parted in the breeze, and did nothing to hide the swell of her breasts from view. As she confidently stepped in front of him, he could see, her ass WAS firmer, and nicely curved too!
He’d love to get his hands on it, but as a Cleric, he wasn’t supposed to indulge in the pleasures of the flesh, although apparently Kord permitted it - after escaping death, in battle….

Kitana strode purposefully towards the Temple, determined to claim its sanctuary.

Kitara

Kitara smiled when she noticed Montego looking at her, ‘yep, girls even have power here over men with a little show of skin and a sexy voice.’ She loved this sexual power that was flowing through her. But as in many of the fantasy books she has read, that sexual power sometimes got them into a lot of trouble. She just had to be careful not to tease too much, for even though Montego seemed nice and playful now, what he does when the fury of lust hits might not so nice.

She did straighten up and closed the exposed cleavage, she looked up at Montego with an apologetic look. “I think we need to focus upon what happened and why we are here. Do you remember what our goal was in the game?” she tried to remember but for some reason she completely forgot the intro that Steve told them before the lights went out. She felt almost like a tease by the way she played with him, but to her there was a place and time for everything and just pushing the fact that they shifted to a new world and new people wasn’t just to be tossed on the back burner while satisfying sexual lust take priority.

The temple was quite, only a few candles remained burning. The shadows were a bit creepy to Kitara as she knowingly moved closer to Montego. “Well I think it might be time to try my skills.” She reached down unconsciously and grabbed the pouch at her waist. Opened it, rummages around a bit and pulled a few components out. She closed her eyes and uttered a few words followed by a few hand gestures and wham. A ball of light appeared over their heads. She thought about the shadows and instantly the ball zoomed to the location lighting the darkness up. “Well, that was awesome.” She smiled at her accomplishment.

Kitara looked so sexy when she smiled.

As she noticed Montego looking at her, she closed her robes around her chastely, and gave him an apologetic look, as if she’d realised she was teasing him with the view he just had.
“I think we need to focus upon what happened and why we are here. Do you remember what our goal was in the game?” She’d said.
I nodded in agreement, and replied:
“Weren’t we supposed to head to Greyhawk to find a merchant, or someone important? I’m sure his name will come to me, but I can’t remember it right now. I know we need to go to Greyhawk, though!”

Seeing as how we were alone, Kitara decided to try some casting of her own.
She opened the pouch at her waist, and withdrew several spell components, before closing her eyes, and passing her other hand over the items in her palm.
They seemed to disappear in a small ‘puff’, and then a small globe of light appeared, just above her head.
Kitara pointed into the shadows with that hand, and the ball of light dutifully whizzed over, to bring light into the shadows.
“Well, that was awesome.” She smiled, looking very pleased with herself.
“Wow! That’s actually quite impressive!” I told her, now I knew what that effect looked like.

A middle-aged priestess of Pelor, with her grey hair tied into a bun approached us and bowed before asking:
“Hello, travellers. Are you lost?”
Montego bowed, and as he straightened, she could see the device of Kord upon his chest armour.
“Greetings, Sister. My companion and I are on our way to Greyhawk, but we seem to have become lost…perhaps you would be kind enough to assist us?”
She smiled, and bowed in return, before answering.
“Of course, Brother. Please – stay with me tonight, the rooms beyond this Chapel offer comfort and rest. I’m sure Pelor will grant you peace and sanctuary for tonight, in return for an offering, at least?”
Montego bowed again.
“We thank you, and accept your kind offer. I am Father Montego of Kord, and this is Kitara, my friend.”
She smiled, which seemed to make most of the age-lines in her face disappear.
“I am Marianna, and I can show you to food and water, it isn’t much, but there is enough to share.”

She stood behind us and gently guided us forward with her hands at our backs. The door ahead invited us in, partly due to the aroma of freshly baked bread which had wafted into the Temple.

Montego’s stomach growled in response. It had been many hours since he had eaten.
As they entered the other room, they saw it was simply furnished with four plain wooden chairs around an equally plain wooden table, of sturdy construction, its surface worn smooth from years of use.
There was a doorway through to another room, which was closed, and another room, which seemed to be the Kitchen judging by the pot of simmering soup on top of a hooked arm, leaning over the fire.

“Please, sit!” She bade us, and started to serve the soup, and brought slices of the still-warm bread on smooth wooden plates, matching the wooden bowls holding the soup. It took Montego a moment to realise that it was customary to drink the soup from the bowl, not use a spoon, as they did back home.
“Are you not hungry, Brother?” She asked.
“Oh yes – I was just offering brief prayer to Pelor, in thanks for the hospitality you have shown us in his House.”

He said, flustered and wanting an excuse to cover his naivety.
Kitara, it seemed had figured it out and the aroma of the bread and soup, which tasted like a vegetable broth, was too much to resist.

The two wagons were under attack. Twenty or so short..goblins? He guessed were assaulting the four guards.

He tore down the hill, acting as though this were all normal, and threw himself into the melee

His giant sword to a great sidelong swipe, and it bit through two of the four foot monsters, then into a third. The purple black blood spurting everywhere.

This caught the attention of some of the others and they turned on him

Luckily his skills seemed innate, his sword dancing as it blocked
And parried, soon he had trimmed their numbers by another 2.

The battle turned into a route as arrows began to pepper the backs of others, the chaos giving the wagon guards a reprieve to load their own crossbows, soon the last 5 or so turned and ran into the hills

Kayla

I watched as Lance rushed into hand to hand combat, making long ranged arrow attacks a little to dangerous. “Damn Fool.” We just had this discussion and what does he do the very first thing! Goes off in a blood lust rage leaving me behind to get his thrills. But then again, the merchants might be thankful and offer us coinage or better yet food!

By the time I got into range to use my short sword, Lance had already cleaned house and routed the others off to the hills. I was a little winded as I walked up to the carnage. My stomach turning in knots with all the blood and guts everywhere. I leaned over one of the wagons, ready to show everyone a nice stream of vile. But I was able to keep my composure somewhat as I looked over at Lance. “What the fuck did we just talk about a few moments ago!” I forgot about the merchants. “Shit!” …”Hi guys.” I smiled at them,. But frowned at Lance. He just didn’t get it…

I walked up to him, not liking the way the guards were looking at me. “Lance..” I took a half step behind him. “Good friends. Me and my associate here is wondering if we are going in the right direction to reach Greyhawk. Would you be so kind as to point us in the right direction.” I didn’t care if there was a reward for what Lance did, I just wanted to get the hell out of here..

Kitara

Kitara remained silent, She wasn’t part of this chantry so she let Montego do the talking. She nodded and whispered thank you but that was all she said. She was worried that maybe the Sister saw what she did and reported her, now she was only keeping us here till the authorities came. But Montego didn’t seem to worried as he exchanged pleasantries with the sister.

When she took them to a small room where there was fresh bread on the table and stew was simmering in the fireplace Kitara became a little more worried. She knew that the temples offered sanctuary to all those that seek it and since Montego was one them all should be ok, but something just didn’t seem right.

She shook her head at her own mistrust, but still she couldn’t get rid of the feeling. So she just played nice, bowed and said thank you again. The food did smell good and she was ravished. She took the bowl as it was offered and began to drink from it. She than took some bread and tore it into smaller pieces and dipped it into the stew.

“Sister, May I ask what are the views of the city to the use of your clerical spells.” I looked over at Montego when she looked at me quizzically.

Lance stood there shocked. This was unbelievably surreal

It had not been him who had done that. It had been Aginor. He was Aginor. He fought like him, and his alignment had even compelled him to fight, not that good neutral was a severely stringent alignment but the whole time he had charged in he had been trying to stop.

And the fighting!!!!

That had been terrifying, but his body had effortlessly put his blade through the others or up in his own defense. It had been instinct, and easy.

He heard someone speak and he whipped his head up, finally shaking off the way he had changed. And then he looked behind his shoulder at Kayla, amazed at how she had changed. Her character was much fuller chested, and that cleavage was on display. Then he wondered about himself, except he couldn't finish that thought as another voice jerked his head around

The guards simy pointed back the way they had come.

"Thanks. Fair sirs" he said, speaking in the way that had always seemed corny when they played, but here. It was natural.

"Can we be of any further assistance?" He asked a she eyes their wagon and men. One of the guards seemed to have a good slash on his leg, but for all that they were quite well off

Then he turned and with Kayla now in front of him he dropped his voice

"Come on let's get out of here before I run off and do something else stupid" then he put his hand on her hips and spun her around, then he led the way back down the road. He resheathed his sword as his mind swam with how little control he had had, and how natural it all had been.

Then he began to wonder about the ring in his pouch he didn't dare try that yet.
