Ok,

I have a few pictures that I would like to put on some threads but when I do, all that comes up is a download button. How do I get the actual picture there?

Where the newpost form says, "Attach file: Maximum size: 102400 bytes" There is a button that says "browse"

When you click on that, you should get a dialogue box similar to the attached picture.

Using the pull down list in the address bar and clicking on the appropriate drives and folders, find the picture you want to upload.

Double click on the filename and submit your post without previewing it. (Previewing clears the attachment box.) If you absolutley need topreview your post, then wait until you are done previewing before you attach the file.

Expect a longer delay before your post is displayed than you would get without attaching a picture -- the newpost form has to upload the picture and check that it meets the limitations of 800x600 and smaller than 100Kb (NOT 102Kb -- 100K is exactly 102400 bytes.)

The upload delay is about the same amount of time it took to download the picture doubled, because it also has to be downloaded back to your computer to display in the post.
