Paul entered the impressive, glass and brick building in the San Fernando Valley. It was another movie production company and he hoped this might lead to a casting.
Tall, fit, 20, desperate for work, Paul had traveled to Hollywood to become an actor....a few bit parts, a commercial, but nothing solid. The receptionist said they were ready, and Paul stood up, excited, scared and enthusiastic, he walked through the open door into the executive suite of offices.....

Sierra looked out the window. She has been struggling in this business for the past 2 years, but she had no complaints. No, it wasn't that her passion had always been in the film industry. Her love for producing movies only grew after she stepped into the industry. It was that this was infinitely more challenging than pushing sales as a senior vice president in a NY bank. Plus the weather on the West Coast was always better.

Challenges, such as finding the next male actor for an upcoming production.

Sierra was the executive producer and seldom worked on set, nor got involved in the actual production. But she has been meaning to learn the ropes in other aspects of the business. Besides, the director and the line producer were both unavailable for the interview.

She heard a firm knock on the door to her large executive office. A luxury, really, considering how she wasn't doing all that well at the moment.

"Come in."

Across the room Paul met a very attractive, older, female executive.

"G, Good morning!" He blurted. Catching his stride, he walked across the room and stretched out his hand. The woman was well dressed, amazing jewelry, expensive haircut and very sexy, older, mature, the classic older woman fantasy.

"Snap out of it!" Paul told himself. "Jobs, rent, work, Remember?" He thought.
Paul stood nervously and looked around.

"Take a seat," Sierra glanced at the top of her interview file.

"Paul. Right. You're here to interview for the role of..." Sierra opened the file, and browsed through quickly. It was a little more than a bit part role. The male lead's brother-in-law. There were a couple of appearances in the upcoming series that was due for filming. She quickly closed the file.

"You have the script with you? Are you ready to begin reading your lines?" Sierra asked.

"Yes, of course. I'm ready to read the lines. I am very prepared."
Paul had done everything, read the lines, researched the company, the series, the plot, the characters.
He even did a pre interview work out to look his best, he felt some ache in his abs and new he was tight.
A boring soap opera role, but he was going to hit it out of the park and get noticed.

Getting the script out, Paul looked over, this woman was really stunning.

Sierra continued browsing. She had read the script from front to back, and was fairly familiar with the various characters. This was a soap opera pilot. To be honest, the writers started with a half-baked idea, and she couldn't see this going anywhere. But there was this one bit that she felt could be a pull factor for viewers. The brother-in-law of the male lead was only slightly more than a bit part role. But the one scene that might make one of the biggest waves in the series, is this scene that hints at incest, where the brother-in-law makes an unexpected move on the female lead - his own sister.

"Start from page 340. From the top," Sierra asked, before putting down her interview file, and turned to face him. It was then that she began to notice his slightly raw but handsome looks. And it seems like he keeps his body well in shape.

Paul stood in his best acting pose and began his lines. Making a strong opening he was working up to the finish and wanted to impress. Getting a little too into it, Paul walked across the room and got really close to the screening exec.
Slapping the script down on the desk, he looked at her and growled "Now what, sis!"

Gasping, Paul realized his mistake and stood back. He leaned over and picked up the script. His pants were tight and she may have noticed, but the more he moved around she might not see his bulge.
"I'm sorry, I got a little carried away. Wh, What do you think?"

Sierra could barely raise one of her eyebrow enough to show her disapproval. Was that a line? Wasn't he supposed to go through with the entire scene?

"Am I supposed to feel seduced by that?" Sierra asked, now her turn to toss the script onto the desk, as she folded her arms underneath her chest, pushing up her breasts as she did so.

"Try again," Sierra said, with a hint of annoyance.

Nervous, and a more than a little turned on, Paul picked up his script and reset. Beginning his lines again, he maintained eye contact with this smoldering older woman as if he wanted to bed her right here in her office.
She may have noticed his change in demeanor, because her arms uncrossed and her face became intense and she returned his stare.
Acting around her chair, Paul traced his fingers on her shoulders while he read his lines and enjoyed the deep curves he noticed under her expensive clothes. Visibly hardening, Paul stayed behind her chair so she wouldn't notice.
With a little too much intensity he finished his lines and left his hand on the back of this powerful executive's neck, leaned into her face and almost stage kissed her.

"How's that?" He said, much more confidently.

Sierra sat back in her chair, and picked up the script and her interview files again. Her brows furrowed a little, and realised that she would need some time to think about it. Paul showed promise, but he didn't exactly blow her away. In his acting, it felt a little like he, a younger man, was trying to seduce her, an older woman. It was sweet in a way, but not what she was searching for the role.

"I have to say what you just did shows promise, but it is still missing a little something. I'm your baby sister, whom you've watched growing up. You've always felt protective over me, so watching me fall in love with this man, my husband, was especially difficult for you. So when I was hurt in this marriage, your protective instincts kicked in, and when taken to an extreme, you even felt the kind of physical, raw attraction towards me. And you began to love me in ways that became inappropriate as a sibling. This eventually culminated in our illicit relationship, however brief."

"At this point, if I were your sister, I would have felt none of those very conflicting emotions,"

Then she stood up, and extended her hand to Paul.

"Paul, thank you for your time. I will be honest to say that you are the best candidate so far, but I have another couple of actors coming in today. If you are still the best we have then, I will definitely give you a call," Sierra took a quick glance down and noticed the outline of his erection.

Hmm...was he turned on by the role, or by her? Sierra decided to make a mental note. If she were ever to call him in, that is.

......

Sierra saw the last of her candidates walk out the door to her office. This was turning out to be much more difficult than she thought! She made a mental walk through her list of candidates, and Paul's name came up again.

She made a call to her facilities manager, and booked a backup set for the evening. It wasn't used for actual filming much these days, but it was a good place for actors to practise their lines, to try to get into their roles. It was likely that Sierra would have the entire place to herself.

She called Paul up, and told him to meet her at the backup set location. She didn't say too much, but that this was his final interview - he would get the role if he passed it.

"Oh, and if you get there first, let yourself into the set. You would see a similar set up to the scene that you are supposed to act out. Be prepared to do it again," Sierra then hung up, after hearing an affirmative from Paul.

Sierra wondered if what she had in mind would work. It wasn't always easy to find a finished product, as today's interviews have shown. But perhaps she could coach it out of Paul - he seemed the most promising.

Getting the call, Paul was excited. After agreeing on the location, he went for a hard workout. He pushed himself and thought about ways to improve.
Showering, dressing well, but understated Paul went to the location and let himself in. It was a standard studio, like the kind he wanted to have his career in. This exec. was really intoxicating, but he knew he had to keep it together in front of her. "Act, but not overact." He told himself.
As the door opened he got right into it without letting her think he was planning, he got right into his part as if they were filming.

"Hey Sis! Listen, I am just very upset that you have been treated so badly lately." He ran through a few more lines and noticed his interviewers grin at his initiative.

"As we've grown and looked out for each other, it's not bad that I want to protect you is it? I mean like when I beat up your first boyfriend for hurting you?"
Paul moved around and let his confidence build. The workout helped, he was not as nervous, more relaxed and turned on, but not visibly so.

Finishing his lines, Paul took a chance after his successful delivery, "And besides, Sis, I enjoyed those baths we used to take together..." Paul gave a snap smack of Sierra's ass and winked, giggling.

"Was that better?" He asked. I wanted it to be believable, and I went with it.

"Mr Paul, if you ever do that again, I will call the police," Sierra's face changed.

She had tried to look encouraging throughout the interview, but it became clear that Paul was going to need a lot more coaching than she had initially expected. Perhaps her gut instinct was wrong. There was a Michael, who had seemed to be the better candidate all of a sudden.

But maybe, just maybe, she could make something out of this. Maybe cast Paul in a different role? Or a different production?

"Paul, sit down," Sierra saw the smile wiped off his face. For some reason, she found it difficult to stay angry at him.

"How about this - in this entire script, which role exactly did you find most suitable for yourself?" Sierra tried a different approach. The jealous brother-in-law who was always waiting in the wings, was clearly not a role suitable for Paul.

"Uh, Ok, listen, there's no need for that. I just got way too involved with the part." Paul said, sitting down and fidgeting. "I really want the part, well, really any part. I think you've been at this longer than me. Is there something you think I would fit better with? I'll train with someone, do research, anything. I'm so tired of the grind and really want to break in."
Paul relaxed a little and settled down. This woman was really elegant, smoky in a very sensual way.

Paul waited for her reply and looked around the studio. "Don't mess up" He told himself. "Agree with whatever she says."

Sierra eyed Paul up and down once more. If he meant what he said, he might have some hope yet. Willingness to learn was an important trait in the business. And while he may be far off at this moment, Sierra still believed that the young man had potential.

"Ok Paul. Last chance. First, stick to the script. I like the fact that you have no hesitation in improvising. But that means your version had better be better than the original. At this point, it's not. And I'll tell you why,"

Sierra paused, standing up as she towered over the seated young man for a moment. Then she proceeded to walk away from him, towards the door to the set.

"Just follow the script, listen closely and do as I say," Sierra's heels clicked on the flooring, the click of the door filling the room as she opened it, and stepped out.

...

Sierra took a deep breath, took one last look at the script, and laid it down on the table outside the set. Then she turned the knob of the door, a little apprehensively, before pushing it open gently, and stepped in. She was already in her role.

She looked up and saw Paul seated there. Except that he wasn't Paul. He was Sean, her brother, and she was Laura, who was estranged from her husband.

"Hey Sean," she said. She thought of the fight she just had with her husband, how he yelled at her and said many hurtful things. And how he had hit slapped her on her right cheek. She brought her hand up to touch her cheek, as if still feeling the sting.

She had to hold back her tears, and not let Sean see her in this emotional state. Turning away from him, she headed to the kitchen as quickly as she could. But it wasn't as if he didn't know. She had called him up, barely able to keep her tears in over the phone. She didn't say much, just that she needed some space and that she wanted to go to a place she felt safe in. He didn't probe much over the phone, and told her to just let herself in when she arrived.

She opened the fridge, stared blankly inside, and then closed it. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, and the chill from the fridge only made her feel colder. She began to sob, quietly at first, but it became uncontrollable.

It was then that she felt his warm hand on her shoulder at first, and then gently, he turned her towards him, and gave her a slow hug.

She continued to cry, resting her head into his shoulder. She was glad how it felt broad and strong, as always. She could always count on her brother.

"It's ok, baby sister," she heard his soothing voice, and put her arms around his strong back, returning his hug. She felt her chest nestling against his firm abdomen - he was that much taller than she was. Everything about this felt so safe. She felt protected. Loved.

They remained like this for a few more short moments, even if it felt as peaceful as eternity. And then she looked up, into his eyes. She was surprised that she didn't see Paul, but Sean. He had, somehow, elevated his acting from earlier.

"Kiss me," she said, as she tip-toed on her heels, and turned her head to the side. He hesitated at first, but then leaned forward, his lips meeting hers. Sierra had improvised from the script.

Sierra broke away from the kiss first, and wiped the real tears from her eyes. Straightening her clothes, she gestured Paul to take his seat again, as she went to pick up her interview folder.

When she returned, she looked at Paul, and asked, "how did that feel?"

"Uhm, Uh, You are amazing!! Did you write this script?" Paul blurted.

"I know I'm new at this and have a lot to learn, you were very convincing, very. I even got a little turned on." Paul shifted in his seat and blushed.

"So, anyway, how do I act like that? And why are you an exec and not an A list with your own staff and mansion?"

Paul could see Sierra's well kept figure and tried hard to keep his fantasies R rated for now. At home in the shower he could let it out. She was amazing, fit, sexy, and talented. "How was this woman not married or on a date right now?" he wondered.

"So, what's next?"

Sierra squinted a little at Paul, and wondered if she would ever get through to him. She wasn't going to be around all the time to hand-hold a budding actor. If she were to pass him on to the director and filming crew, she could only imagine the pain they would go through - which would translate into her pain.

"You see, Paul. A good actor needs to be able to act in roles that he is not naturally comfortable with. With this role, an over-protective brother needs to be someone that seems to be quite unlike you as a person. Remember, this is soap opera and not some C-grade soft porn movie..."

Sierra stopped. Perhaps considering Paul for a role in that kind of production might be more suitable? It was one way towards global stardom, just of a different sort.

"Paul, before I carry on, would you consider starring in a soft porn movie?" Sierra asked.
