I just saw the movie. It was really weak. The visuals were great but it was laughable in some (a lot of) scenes. Joe Cocker was a real treat, though. I really liked the arrangements. Bottom line is I like a wide range of music, but the movie proved to me once again why the Beatles are my all time favorite group.

I can't think of any better overall. Can you?

That's gonna be in my head for the next hour now. I can think of a lot worse songs to have stuck.

I'm amazed you were able to finish it. Weak doesn't begin to describe it.

For all that, I'm glad for any movie or show that gives yet another generation a taste of the Beatles. Every ten years or so they're rediscovered.

How about Hey Jude. Not my fave.

Me either, but it's good in the movie.

Okay, it sucked.

My kids like the Beatles, Led Zeppalin, Rolling Stones, The Doors, etc... And they have introduced me to some awesome music. BTW have you heard Raising Sand, the Robert Plant/Allison Krauss cd? It's very good.
