Today I was in the grocery store (a great place to people watch), when I saw her. Five-five or six, long, straight blonde hair and bright, expressive blue eyes. She had a gorgeous body and was wearing a Country concert t-shirt, denim shorts, and wedge sandals about three inches high.
Her beautiful face caught my eye first, and her return look with a slight smile and raised eyebrows held me, rapt. When she turned and continued shopping (nobody, nobody, needs that many things from the top shelf), I took immediate and careful notice of her wonderful legs and rather fetching rear end as well.
I ran into her (figuratively speaking) about a dozen times, and each time we exchanged long, flirting looks filled with promise. In the common parlance of my day, we were really "digging on" each other.
My last sight of her was a shared nod of recognition as she rolled her groceries to her car...while I helped my wife load my minivan. (Yes, my wife was right next to me the entire time)
(sigh)
This does not happen very regularly in my life, but I wondered if it happens to others on occasion? Share your tales and maybe a plot bunny or two will hop out of the brush.
