If you're going to go the online personals route -

I've found collarme.com to be useful though without much infor you can put into your profile. Bondage.com is also nice but rather limited - at least if you're in the midwest. But it has a great ability to put more information about yourslef into your profile.

alt.com is a pay site so I've found it to be out of my ability to use at this time... can't advise you there.

i was about to mention collarme when i saw this, so i'll just second the mention. i found Sir there. i found it to be easy to serach for someone local. Course, when i signed up i just put up my profile and started getting messages. There is a journal feature that is seen when your name comes up on the list, so really what you say is unlimited...with in the usual bounds, of course. (oops, i'm supposed to be working on mine right now)

i tried Bondage, as well. i like the checklists they have available. It is a usable site even without being a premium member. They do give you a chance to make yourself more known than other sites i've found. i did get several responses to the ad and info i had put up.
