The only advice I've seen for this type of problem is resubmitting with an EDITED note beside it. Is there really no way to stop it from being posted? I'm very anal and the thought of people seeing my rough work gives me stomach acid..

Yep.
Either that or email Manu.

Or, you could give us all a laugh and keep it up. :D

Mz,

Send Laurel a PM (e-mails tend to get lost in SPAM) explaining the problem and throwing yourself upon her mercy. Odds are that'll work. She's a softie.

Rumple Foreskin

Seriously though,
if it is as bad as you think, it will probably be rejected.
Most are first time around, unless your spelling and grammar are spot on.
Good luck. :)

Hey, Mz,

I completely understand. :rose: Can't you delete it prior to actual posting? Isn't that an option any more? I haven't submitted in so long that I'm not sure how the process has changed, honestly.

Luck,

Yui

Thanks for the help people

and, on a completely unrelated note (since the thread's already been jacked to discuss Yui's fuzziness), how the hell do I get to keep private msging on here (I understand they need to have your im name for that) without displaying my e-mail to everyone and their momma?

Just click on the name of the person you want to pm, and from the drop down menu, select 'send a private message'. A message window will open, you insert the title and message, hit send, and off it goes.

When and if you get a reply, a message window will appear on your screen informing you you have a private message. Simply click on the ok to open the message list. Click on the highlighted message title shown in the list of your inbox, and it will open.

Or, you can simply click on 'private messages' on the top right of the screen, underneath your welcome message.

Private messaging (pms), have nothing to do with im-ing (such as msn, yahoo, aol), and have nothing to do with your e-mail. They are private messages sent between Lit members, without them being public on the threads/boards.

Mat.
