Accessing account

Thanks and agree that I am signed in but still won't let me access my account, favorites, stories, etc.

Are you still using Internet Explorer by any chance? A great many of the problems people are experiencing of late seem to trace back to that.

If you are, try accessing your story-side CP with a different browser and see if that works.

Internet Explorer no good

I only use my laptop when I want to post a story and have always used Internet Explorer. I went to do so a few days ago and entered the correct log in information but couldn’t get any further. I tried Firefox and logged in and submitted my story without a problem. I’ve never had a problem with Safari on my iPhone.

Login in to the forum is not a problem.

The same is happening to me. I can't log in on the main literotica page even with the right password.

Geez, this still isn't fixed???

This problem has persisted for over a month now. I know the admins are busy with the new page and what not, but we've been waiting patiently for a fix for this issue.

Honestly, if you're still using Internet Explorer, it's time to stop. Microsoft is only supporting the final version, and only because a lot of businesses are slow to adapt. They're pushing Win 10 and Edge hard. There will come a time when enough businesses have made the switch for them to drop support for IE completely.

In the meantime, the internet is leaving it behind. Enough people took advantage of the free Win 10 upgrade to reduce IE usage to only a few holdouts. Nobody is coding/testing for it any longer, so more and more of the internet is going to function badly or not at all with every passing day.

You're better off transitioning to Chrome, Firefox, or whatever on your own terms before circumstances force you to do it. Only use it when you have to because something no longer works in IE if that suits you. Build up your bookmarks and logins organically over time, so when IE becomes all but useless, you can smoothly make a transition.

what does using Internet Explorer have to do with a site bug?

A HTML coding bug in Internet Explorer would still be a coding bug in Edge or Chrome, or whatever. I do have Chrome but don't use it very often, because the search feature in Internet Explorer is better.

Try logging into your author CP with Chrome. If it works, then IE is the problem. That's been the case with a huge number of the problems people have been reporting with the new updated pages on the site.

It's unlikely that incompatibility is going to get fixed, because taking time out to code a workaround for an obsolete browser doesn't make sense. IE has always been a pain in the ass for not conforming to the standards every other browser adheres to and keeps up with. It's even worse now that even Microsoft is trying to stomp it out of existence.

I've never, ever, not once in my life used Internet Explorer. I've been using Google Chrome since it probably came out in 09 or so.

That's not the problem.
