Can an accent turn you on? Which one? Can you go nuts over someone because of it? Is there an accent that will drive you wild if you hear it in bed?

Definitely

Australian, British, and Southern accents are my favorite to hear from a lady. Wish I had more chances to hear them.

Scottish and Irish in general.

However I believe that it is more dependant on the quality of talk. I would soon lose interest in the sexiest voice if what they are saying is gibberish :D

Sometimes it is more to do with timbre and the man talking than the accent itself.

Geordie and other North East, Welsh (obvs), Irish, some Scottish

I concur with the last sentiment there. Spot on.

I have been in conferences where the speaker had such a voice that the imagination begins to wander... :D

It wasn't the accent. It was just 'shivers down the spine' good ;)

Most all accents, except New England and Chicago.

I'm finding a good voice is just as important as an accent!

I remember, when I was still a young lass, going into a Sony shop in my nearby town. The salesman there started telling me about some record player or other and I didn't hear a word he said because my knees had turned to jelly at the tone of his voice. It was just smooth and serene and slightly deep, but not excessively so. Lovely. :cattail:

I'm from Chicago area but have been told I have a New York accent...

A sexy valley girl accent does it for me...

For some reason it seems inviting and easy?...and playful

Maybe just a stereotype?

Very flirtatious...

Would Fran from that housekeeper show qualify as a valley girl accent?....I think her voice is sexy although some may say it gets on their nerves

Happy Friday to All :)

Did your accent make him all trembly too?

Lol, I doubt it. We both had local Scottish accents. Also, he probably thought me a fairly insignificant wee scrap since he was a much older fellow. :D

There's nothing insignificant about a nice Scottish accent!

Depends what part of the country - there are a lot of different Scottish accents! :)

Very true! Well, if you ever feel inclined to let me find out what your accent is like, be my guest lol

Scottish accent on a girl is good too...imho

Yes, of course the quality of content has to be the main point, but an accent can tip the balance if in doubt...
