Absent Friends

I guess we have all met someone here in Lit that has had a profound effect on our life and has since faded from view. Sometimes they just come and go in a flash other times they are around for a while and then just disappear from the face of the earth for a bit and then come back. Sometimes they are gone forever.

I had a special lady that I met on here some time back and today is her birthday. We spent some incredible time together both online and in real life. Sadly she has faded from view lately but I’m sure she still sticks her head in now and then just to see what has been going on. Well I’d like to think she does anyway.

I’d like to wish her a very happy birthday and tell her that I hope all her dreams come true and hope she can find the happiness that she so richly deserves. My life is better for having known her, if only for a short time. I miss her terribly but that’s life I guess. I just hope that one day she will come back.

Someone who comes back now and again intermittently...something tell me, not for awhile to come though.
Who doesn't know that they mean that much to me.
Who ... without knowing it, showed me something that wasn't right in my life...and just by showing me how it SHOULD be, gave me the strength to change a situation that i otherwise, might still be in.
Someone above and beyond me.
But who i treasure...even though they see themselves as a passing ship.

I met a woman on here who was magnificent in every way. We were having a great time with each other and then all of this sudden she vanished, haven't heard from her since I hope she's not gone forever.

Before coming to the boards,I was in LIT chat. I made alot of wonderful friends there,and enjoyed many nights and days conversing,sharing and laughing with the group we formed. I miss all my old friends at syds hot tub! Once awhile you see one pop up on the boards but the nights of 20 to 50 people at the same time sharing our friendship is las gone forever!

Thank God, I didnt let one escape my life forever! We now are together in R/L and I have asked her to be my wife!
She said yes!

I have quite a few friends that have slipped from view, Cent is one of them... but also uksilverlining and never enough... and then there is the friends that are here, but not nearly as often as they once were... we miss the time with them just as much... big 's to all of them.

I really miss MissTabby, she and I had been online friends for years and she was the one that introduced me to this site. But she's disappeared, and I miss her... she's a lovely lady, very special, and very special to me.

There was another from this site I used to chat too who disappeared for a couple of years, I often thought about him and wondered how he was. Then he reappeared again.. and it's been great chatting on im with him, laughing and joking and well as some serious stuff. He's a good friend, a real pal, and I'm glad he's back.
