Yes a guarded wall is about as close as it gets. However I was talking about diminishing returns. I could (if I had the money) hire enough guards to stand shoulder to shoulder around my house preventing robbers, possums and black widows. However I've had one break in during my entire life, three possums (one that was friends with my cat. It was terrible I'd feed her and once she finished she'd call the possum to eat the rest of her food!) and while black widows surround my house none have ever entered nor bit me (but one bit one of my iguanas I think.) The money I would spend on those guards would dwarf the money I've lost otherwise and would quickly dwarf the value of everything I own.

Finally this is a plan that we shouldn't do and if we do anybody who is half assing it is at least saving us the money from going full bore retard.

1 mile DMZ, mined to high hell, rifleman every 300m with all the cool guy toys. Re-enforced concrete 30ft high walls, covered with layer of C wire that's buried 100 feet down.

I promise you RJ.... immigrants would no longer simply walk into our country.


Cost effective with a real reason behind it? Not at all.

We can put automated motion activated machine guns every couple hundred meters that can knock coke cans out of windows from a mile out, they see in IR, Thermal, Night vison and even UV. 1 guy in a control room can cover mega miles of border. Raccoon and really any non flying anything alive would have an extraordinarily difficult time making it past the security measures we are capable of putting in place.
