In a satirical manner, I wish to illustrate what the lack of values, morals and ethics permit modern Democrats and all the wanna be socialists, can lead to without any guilt or recriminations. You know, pro choice, it's her body...

Swift was offering satire, as am I, but with a million and a half pounds of fetal waste each year, a filler for ground beef sounds like a cost effective method of disposing of unwanted babies.

As Swift pointed out, raising and fattening unwanted, strarving, one year old Irish babies, would improve the economy, reduce the population and increase the food supplies, all positive attributes of a modest proposal serving the greater good.

The German Holocaust took sic million innocent lives, they don't come close to the horror of butchering 50 millioin babies in 40 years since Roe v Wade. Do you think you just get away with mass murder? Justice will be served.

http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/modestproposal/summary.html

Since 90 percent of you left wing nitwits never heard of Johnathan Swift; the above is a brief summary of the book. Get your salt and pepper ready...fat juicy one year old babies with the right seasoning can be delicious fare for Bohemian palates.

I have more...much more...don't go away...

Amicus Swift :)

Americans are absolutely playing with blocks on this issue.

If you are going to do it. Do it right for Christ sakes!

There are approximately 13 million abortions performed annually in the PRC with another 10 million pills sold for the induced process.

You could be right, but the number bering bandied about, is 50 million abortions since 1973 in the U.S.

Perhaps you could clarify for others, what PRC means, and your 'playing with blocks' metaphor?

Peoples Republic of China.

America's abortion mills in comparison seems like "childs play." I am not sure a more inappropriate use of the phrase could be made though.

You do have a way with words....I be gonna ramble a bit....the PRC, a Communist country uses forced abortions on any woman pregnatnt for a second time, unless she is a member of has a husband in the politburo of the inner circle of todies and ass kissers.

The Ayrabs, who have no'legal' abortions, are out producing the West by and 8 to1 baby boom and scaring the hell out of Euro leaders.

I offer up for anyone to clarify, on one hand, the general acceptance by the left of this country of the oppression of women in the Muslim world; I fail to comprehend how they are so pro choice, pro abortion here, but seemingly indifferent to the Middle east and t he horror of Communist China.

Sumthin' ain't right in all that...

Your statements are completely unqualified and bear no relation to each other. I sense your general anger and you have chosen the correct venue to vent it randomly, only youtube is better for flailing e-rage.
You put the middle east (not a country, aren't all arabs and don't share common law) and china in the same bracket in order to attack 'the left' yet you yourself state that they have completely different attitudes to abortion. Surely you should love them ayrabs for wildly reproducing if you are so anti-abortion?

Who fucking cares anyway? I don't want to share my resources with any more people. I like being at the top of the pile, it's nice here. I have free access to music, I can have all the sex I like and the meat is lean over here. Hooray for abortion!

No doubt that there is forced abortion in the PRC.

However, I would also argue that abortion is widely accepted by Chinese women as OK based on the number of induction pills (10,000,000 annually) voluntarily purchased before the end of the first trimester.

Knowing, many, many Chinese people I've seen little if any negative emotion about terminating pregnancy via abortion.

They were talking about this on NPR a while back... Something like 37% of abortions were done by women who consider themselves pro-life. I don't think it's a Democrat thing.

Regardless, I think we ought to strengthen community social health programs instead of defunding them as Republicans tend to do. You're rabidly against sex ed in schools (correct me if I'm wrong), and the consequence of your advocacy is more ignorance and more dead babies. I believe you're partially at fault here.

I think it's apples and oranges tho....PRC women still don't have a choice...in M'erica they have that choice. In M'erica she can have 15 kids or zero babies ever....

Choice...it's the ultimate freedom.

It's always the MEN who bitch about this issue

We need to feel important and involved in all things. Crying over the internet about things that women do means we are part of the process. I'm starting a petition against periods, it offends me that women shed blood wontonly when the red cross is so low on reserves. It's a sickening mockery of our troops shedding blood on foreign soil! Dirty pinko bitches!:D

I'm happy to join that particular petition.
Though I should mention, I use birth control pills to control my cycle so I only have 4/year.
So I may not be the best person to sign on!
(P.S. For the h8trs, I also am one who chose to have abortion.)

Our daughter was one of the lucky survivors of the one-child policy.

I would think the ratios are closer than the numbers even keeping in mind that as we advance technologically, even as we grow closer to The Modern Primitive (using our school system to raise comprachicos, a topic for another day), that out birth rate drops below that of a less advanced society, such as the PRC.

It's not a woman's issue, it's a people issue, more precisely the issue of morality and the outcome of cheap life when we no longer protect the weakest elements of our society and reward risky, self-destructive behavior.

Would you have it both ways?

Would you be told to shut up any time there is a discussion of military action because women do not play an actual combat role?

I think more pro-abortion people should step up to the plate and fund this stuff themselves.

Not rabidly against anything, but a proper teaching of biology is sufficient along with classes in ethics, which we don't really have. Children should be taught the difference between being human and being feral, that sex leads to children, and it is morally abhorrent to discard children because you "made a little mistake."

:lmao:

"for others" he spends post #1 calling people idiots because they do not read Swift, but a post later he admits he has no idea what PRC means? Gee, it's only the largest nation EVER . . . Yep, we are in the presence of True Genius here.

*applause*

Define "hoard".

Somehow, it's not the same as "I put the little missus on the streetcorner and she whored up the rent money."

Teepee livin' has its price.

I have too many fence lizards who think they're horned toads...

Each one points a different way.

I won't argue this, I know guys who were upset or w/e over an abortion and I'm certainly not going to try and invalidate their feelings. To try and do that is absurd and vile. HOWEVER when you get right down to it, it's in her body, she's in control, and she get's to call the shots.....we as men need to accept that.

more precisely the issue of morality and the outcome of cheap life when we no longer protect the weakest elements of our society and reward risky, self-destructive behavior.

Morality is subjective 4est...some see and with very valid argument the protection of our weakest elements as immoral and destructive.

I.E. If those not willing to or incapable of taking care of a child chose not to, GOOD. It's far more cruel to the woman and child both to force an unwanted child into the world. 1 Less family on welfare, 1 less unwanted child in the system. There are valid and rational arguments for not only allowing but encouraging the voluntary abortion of unwanted/unplanned kids.

REWARDING? risky self destructive behavior? ....all subjective, one could say it is far from a reward when a poor indigent woman takes the responsibility of a VERY unpleasant operation when she knows full well she is not in a position to properly care for the child. So instead of shifting that responsibility onto society she handles it herself. I call it being responsible.

Sound like blue-tailed skinks.

You'd be hiding under rocks or climbing the house if you followed those little bastards.

Morality is objective.

Book I

You are an individual. You are unique, You have one life. You have the right to self defense.
You own you, you are your own property; you have the right to own property.
You have the right to pursue property in the defense of your own life.
This is being selfish. It is good.

The latter is attacking the fallacy of class separation. If you are of this class, you have an opinion, if you are not of this class, you have no right to an opinion. Note that the same people who will yell about men being against abortion love men who are for abortion and ignore women who are against abortion as if they are deranged...
