Donald Trump Defends Call For Punishing Women Who Have Abortions: 'I Didn't See Any Big Deal'
Last week, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump took several competing positions on abortion rights over a period of three days.
Trump, who was once adamantly pro-choice, said on Wednesday that “there has to be some form of punishment” for women who have abortions, only to claim later that day that he has never supported such a policy. Then, on Sunday, Trump declared that “we have to leave” current abortion laws in place, only to be again contradicted by his own campaign.
One big issue, five different positions, three short days

Days after evoking a firestorm of criticism for his comments on abortion, Donald Trump said in an upcoming interview that federal law keeping abortions legal should remain in place.
“At this moment the laws are set. And I think we have to leave it that way,” Trump told CBS’ “Face the Nation” host John Dickerson in an interview that will air Sunday. […] “The laws are set now on abortion and that’s the way they’re going to remain until they’re changed,” Trump said at another point in the interview.
Following a familiar pattern, the Trump campaign soon after had to explain that the candidate didn’t mean what he said. “

"On Thursday, Trump tried to blame the context of the Matthews interview – the defense didn’t hold up when MSNBC released an unedited clip of the exchange – and on Friday, Trump still had no idea what he was talking about on the issue, even though he must have known the questions were coming."

If taking a well thought out position on a woman's right to a safe and legal abortion, is not important to Trump, what is important to Trump ?
What, in Donald Trump's opinion, is important enough, to be treated like "a big deal" ?
Does Donald Trump have the opinion, that nothing on Earth is a big deal, except for HIMSELF.
