What with all these topics about new and possible story ideas, I thought I'd create a topic about the opposite. So does anyone else have any story ideas they thought up but in the end never went through with?

I was inspired by the HBO series Six Feet Under, but on grounds of taste and decency decided against it. After all there are some fetishes no-one wants to read about.

I had a few CHYOO concepts I abandoned.

One was "Prom Night" which is pretty much what it sounds like. However, the simple fact is that high school students are not all above the age of 18 , and having to specify that they were was making it feel artificial. Still, it's a concept I might revive at some point.

Another was based on my Literotica story "JNE-99", taking place in the future where there are humanoid robots that one can have sex with. The problem here was that "JNE-99" is more of an emotional story than a sexual one, and that just didn't make the transition to CHYOO very well.

I was thinking once of doing a parody of "The Love Boat" which would basically be like the show except the characters would be fucking like rabbits. Also never got off the ground.

One that I'm still toying with is a "Stranded on a Desert Island" concept. That will probably go somewhere. I imagined something along the lines of an excursion into the South Pacific by a cruise ship loaded with wealthy businessmen and the whores they brought along for the ride, and when the ship hits a leftover WWII mine, the men all selfishly run for the lifeboats and are killed by sharks, leaving the women to float ashore in what's left of the ship, all their trunks of slutty clothes and cosmetics intact. Maybe I would allow one of the men to survive so he could become the overused fuck-toy of those women unwilling to embrace lesbianism...

Anyway, I'm trying to keep my total story number small and shoot for quality over quantity, so even my workable ideas might take some time to see the light.

Book of magic, just didn't work for me..... Wasn't getting the kind of response I wanted so I dumped it...

Sex with consequences..... I still like the idea, but it's not really inspiring me: Maybe I'll go back to it later...

I'm still contemplating doing an "Alien" style story, but I don't know if a critter stalking babes for sex would go over well here.....

I feel the need to restate what I said in my earlier post. what I like about 6FU is the relationships between the characters and the characters themselves. The setting is a novel one but it was more the characters that inspired me. I'm not into necrophilia in case I didn't make that point.

The risk of setting a story in a funeral home is that there is the possibility someone might.

I post my ideas

I have taken an opposite approach to ideas that strike me I get the first thread or two our there and don't worry about getting it past that point till I have a chance to come back to it.

I guess I feel that first I won't forget the idea if I get it out there, and two someone else might be able to add to it while I am waiting.

I know that means I have a ton of undeveloped ideas out there, but I figure I will get around to them one day, and they are not causing any harm.

A good example is the story, "Wanda, the professional slut". I threw an intro thread out there back in November and have not gone back to it yet. I have two good theads added just the other day and that would not have happened if I had waited to post it until it was done.

when I have an idea for a story or whatever, instead of abondoning it, I try to use it. In most cases I find a story that idea would fit and I write it into a thread. A lot of the time I have used my 3 stories for this purpose. It's a way of creating so many different fresh stories within one story. There is something for everybody.

I do however have the makings of a story which I never finished. I was inspired and I wrote a couple threads all at once, then never went back to it. In this case, I was waiting for Daciasdesire to post a similar type story she was working on. It was something medivel and never did make it to Chyoo. Does anybody else miss Dacia? Anyway, the story was called the last knight and was about a knight who the whole worlds fate fell upon. I kind of borrowed the idea from Stephen King's series The Dark Tower. I think it would have worked, but not as a chyoo story. But possibly as a lit story. I may go back to it someday. If anybody wishes to read it, let me know. iconix_t@yahoo.com

And to Gystex... what if the ship sunk and a whole bunch a guys survive and only a couple women? Reverse it. The women would become the used and abused. lol.

Talking about alien stories... Stuart, have you read Android1966's story? I can't recall the title off hand. But he has an interesting story too. I miss him too, but he's off testing some adult RPG. lucky guy. lol.
