Why do you neg your wife about being old and rubbing it in?

And you admire the babysitter too, making the wife realize, that sex-appeal is a force to be reckoned with. The physical presence of the babysitter make her boast about her sporting past. But this is really a simile, as she is really starting to compete for sex-appeal. That exuberance also affects you, and your wife notices how you flirt with the babysitter. This leads to the wife letting go some of her inhibitions and for the first time initiate sex.

Let this simmer a bit, building up the competitiveness, using sport as a metaphor for sex and athletic capabilites for sex-appeal. Nice tension building conflict.
