Dr Grant Harrison had sold his business, MedPark Technologies, for 1 billion US dollars a few years ago, and now saw patients in a small clinic on the edge of a small town in Northern California, just to keep himself busy. His investments guaranteed his wealth for the rest of his life, and he spent on his community, so he was well known and beloved to the residents of the Town of Fiora. He enjoyed his clinic, as it ran at an easy-going pace, and because finances weren't really a concern, he could take his time with his patients. Everyone knew that they would end up waiting a little longer in the waiting room to see him, but that the wait was well worth it. When their time came, they'd get his full attention for as long as they and he felt they needed it.
To top it off Grant was a handsome man. In his early 40's with mostly black, short, hair, he stood at 5'10" and carried an athletic build. With his khaki pants, blue button down shirt and tie, and stethoscope around his neck, he looked like a well-to-do scholar and gentleman.
But Grant had a secret.

"Ok Mrs MacKenzie, we can finally take you off that last blood pressure medicine," he said warmly to the elderly lady - his second to last patient for the day. "Your diet has brought it down nicely, you made it!"
"Oh wonderful! Thank you Dr Harrison!" Mrs MacKenzie said jubilantly as she gave Grant a hug.
"Call me Grant. Please. I'm like your son. And I didn't do any thing, you did all the hard work. It was your goal, and you accomplished it. I just watched you do it."
Mrs MacKenzie and Grant finished their pleasantries as she left, and Grant eyed one last patient, a young lady, sitting in his waiting room. He almost did a double-take due to what he thought was an attractive young woman, but of course stopped himself. He got back to his office and finished his charting on Mrs MacKenzie and then texted Susie, his secretary, to let the last patient in to his office.
