There is a theory that people used to be pretty much like that. We're unsure how much they valued privacy, but in the hunter-gatherers phase it is suggested pretty much everyone slept with everyone. The idea is that the gene pool was too small to only fuck one type of man that is beating his chest and clubbing others. you need the caretakers and more level headed as well. If they survive to sexual maturity, it is pretty much a given they are good enough to procreate with. Child raising and feeding was a group effort as well.

This changed with agriculture. It was a big investment, but gives more food security. It then became more important to use that food to your own kid. Then the relationships changed, where people were more inclined to mono type relationships. This helped their security in that what they raised was their own.

However, we now have full food security. We have a lot of other things that aren't secure thanks to money, but we solve that by making it a utopia. AI has taken the reigns, but governments saw how the economy would crash if a few stayed in power, so they abolished it. Now the world is mostly service and artist jobs that you need to attend a few hours a week, with plenty of food and the only difference in money is how you spend it.

With such securities and barely any difference in the people the road is clear for sex bonanzas. It doesn't matter who's kid it is if you're living in luxury communal homes with plenty of food. Sex isn't inherently bad any more, as men have a good chance they are the father of someone.

The only thing keeping such a community from thriving are STDs. As it is a utopia these things are some of the worst things happening in the world, so there's a big push to eradicate or contain any, so this lush sexual life can be protected.

I'm not sure of a story though. Would it be no more than "go to sex park in summer, fuck some interesting people while you get their stories?"

Literotica world would bring many changes. The family unit would probably break down or become very casual. Up to the age of 18 Lit world children would be separated from the free use world of adults to be raised and educated in schools or camps. On turning 18 there would be some sort of ceremony or initiation into the free use world. It might be a time of great joy and awakening as 18 year olds were introduced to the adult lifestyle. Let me preface this with that I agree. With how the story is framed, especially with 'free use', it seems devoid of all that.

Even so we can turn it all on it's head from one word. Consent. From there we can craft stories that aren't devoid of all that.

First of all there will be relationships. Family (not incest), friends and lovers. There will be sub communities and cultures, all with different opinions on the overarching free use culture.

Say someone falls in love with another. However, their object of desire is desirable by others as well. How can they still be close? Interact? Have a coffee? The courtship isn't gone, merely a different perspective on sex. They might have sex with others while fantasizing being with them, no more than they might fantasize about them being there during a social drink.

Want drama? Maybe a woman is searching for the perfect guy after one or even two miscarriages. Or at the very least avoiding some that she thinks are hurting her chances. This gives high stakes to an otherwise free use scenario. Condoms until she finds someone she has the right connection with and doesn't have a certain blood type for example.

The free use is a way to have liberal sex with few social complications, but is by no means killing the social dances and excitement, if you're trying hard to approach it from the right angle.
