A world where everyone has a sex demon

Imagine a world where you couldn’t hide your arousal because a demon would pop up next to you, ready to satisfy that desire?

Well, in this world, that’s exactly the case. Once you turn 18, you get a demon who will pop in anytime you have a dirty thought and seek to grant that wish if you don’t have a partner handy.

Due to the fact it’s so widespread, public indecency is no longer illegal (though you are encouraged to take your demon somewhere private), but that doesn’t mean you can’t be publically or socially shamed, especially when your demon will shapeshift to look like the object or idea of your desire.

What sort of ideas can spring up with this set up?

For example: girlfriend is thinking of her boyfriend fucking her and her demon appears as him so she sneaks off into the bushes, only to see him fucking his demon…who looks like her mother!

Or a more wholesome one: married couple both are eating dinner and start to have lewd thoughts about each other. Demons show up looking like each other, so they have a little foursome right on the table.

Now imagine what happens with somehow more complex perversions.

Like, "hey, I would like that petite tight blonde fucked by a BBC," and my demon turns up as said black dude and goes trying his luck with her.

Or, a cuck dude goes, "huh, I would like to see my boss fucking my girlfriend." Sure, the demon pops up, turns into said girlfriend and goes to seduce him. What said boss demon does on that?

Or... would people train their demons on ech other for all demon shows?

Perhaps the public decency laws aren't really cancelled for humans, but since said demons can't really be held accountable for anything (as they simply goes poof once nobody's horny) it is understood that for them everything goes. But since those will seek to mingle with people and can look like anything or anyone, the rules simply fail to be enforced.

Also would be rather different when those demons were introduced into the world, if they were always there the whole culture would likely be very different, but if that's a (relatively) recent development it's perhaps more relatable and more charged.

Fair point. Maybe you can only summon them once or twice a day?

So a way to check how chaste someone has been is to get them turned on and see if their demon shows up. If it does, they’ve had no dirty thoughts, if it doesn’t, they have been.

Or maybe you have to be aroused past a certain point. Like a stray thought won’t summon one, but lingering on something or getting physically aroused is what’s required to summon one…which increases the embarrassment as whatever your demon turns into has to be something you’re really turned on by.

So if say you’re a teacher and your demon shows up as one of your students or vice versa, people are going to judge you.

The idea came from a few places but I’m also RP’ing a demon in an SRP thread so I thought it would be fun if the idea got expanded to everyone having a demon.

The question that arises for me is, what does the spirit get out of it? Do they feed off the energy released during sex?

What if they do not appear publicly at all in someone with a healthy sex life (1X daily?), but in those who only maintain masturbation or abstinence, they appear at the first erotic thought? (the sooner, the more abstinent)

Or as a curse for cheaters / adulterers? They could not control themselves, so now everyone should see when they cheat again in thought.

With that old (possibly misremembered) mythos in mind, I can easily imagine them appearing when the thoughts were purely lust-driven, but not when there was an element of love to it.
