Ladies of Lit, I am seeking a woman who is interested in allowing me to write a story about her. All I seek is a message indicating what you're interested looking for and would never turn down a photo for inspiration. I have had the pleasure of starting a story for one woman on Lit, and while that relationship didn't quite develop I would love to try again. I am no professional writer, but I put in a lot of effort when things interest me. I hope to hear your ideas soon.

Why not just write a good story for everyone and post it to LIT so everyone can read it?

I don't quite understand the personal side of this endeavor? Can to explain? And, no, I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything like that. I sincerely don't grasp the issue.

Of course i will explain. I have no interest in writing for the masses. I like to find a muse and develop some form of a personal relationship. I would be writing a story for her. What she chooses to do with it would be her decision.

Reading my post I realize there were a few misspellings in a post about my writing, an unfortunate aspect of my typing on the iPhone. I assure you our story will be looked at more carefully than these posts.

To clarify, I am seeking a female muse. Based on the responses I received, apparently that was not clear.

To clarify muse is a verb, it means to ponder, while Muse is a noun, and refers to the 9 sister Goddesses presiding over branches of learning and the arts.

First off, I don't think that anyone should ever attempt to clarify someone else's post. Secondly, I'm quite confident that everyone other than you understood that you understood the muse I was referring too was "a person who is a source of artistic inspiration." I'm not sure if you thought your reference to the mythological aspect of Muses was funny or smart, but all it does is show that you lack tact or intelligence. Lastly, your private message that I could write you a story anytime certainly lacks tact. We're all here for our own kind of fun, but please take yours elsewhere.

What an admirable young man you are. Darn, I feel a sensitive poet in you.

Oh dear I have ruffled your feathers, I dont remember sending a private message to you. But with my advanced age, my memory isnt what it used to be. I was just stating the facts, I had no intention to upset anybody. The term is used by many, in the wrong context, so I was just making a statement of fact. I always say what I mean, it is the tone which one reads items, which can effect something which was written, with a smile on my face ;) I suggest read it again with a smile on your face. In view of the fact that you have taken my comment the wrong way
I will now crawl back into my den, and not emerge until spring is here:mad:

Yep, I'm just sure that he's sensitive, gentle, kind and sweet ....just like his Mommy taught him. ;=)

I bet he almost never has a naughty thought cross his mind. Good boy!

Miriam Webster disagrees with you Eric. He used muse properly. He wasn't actually referring to Greek mythology (but you knew that, didn't you).

Thank you, sir! I thought he used it properly, too, but I didn't bother to go check. Thanks for doing all the work for me.

Seems like you came up against a tough crowd. You sound nice and genuine and I can understand why you prefer a face and personality for your main character. Surely most stories on lit are written with a certain 'Muse' in mind.
