As some of you know, I got a new tattoo on Tuesday. And since I'm so happy about the result, I just can't resist sharing it here.

So here goes, so far there's 17 pictures, and I plan on taking one each morning until it's totally healed.

#1

The tattoo artist is removing the excess color, after having transferred the tattoo design to my leg. If you look closer, you can see the design through the paper towel.

#2

A last check to see if it's placed correctly, before the tattooing starts.

#3

As you can see, here a part of the lines are done. It haven't been to painful yet, but that will come later!

#4

A concentrated tattoo artist! Making sure he's following the lines.

#5

Here I am, making sure he's doing a proper job! Oh and pay attention to the sign on the doorframe :)

#6

So far so good, he's finished tattoing the line of the solar ring.

#8

He's finally done with the lines, so next he'll start filling the OM sign in.

#9

It's a bit out of focus, but as you can see, the sign is done, so next is the fiery ring.

#10

This part was the part that hurt the most. It seems like my leg is very sensitive right there.

#11

About half way done with coloring in the flames. And as you can see, it's not totally bloodless getting tattooed.

#12

Adding a bit of shadow to the ring around the OM sign.

#13

This was a very uncomfortable position for me, and it was also rather painful at this point, so I was thinking "get it over with will ya!!"

#14

The final result. The black in the flames will fade after a bit.

#15

Ok almost done now. He have just applied some lotion that will help healing, and is about to cover the tattoo with a bandage.

nope, it's not... I bled a lot when I got mine done... but apparently I've got more balls than the guy who I went to get mine with. My tat took an hour and a half. On one of the most painful places a woman can get one.

I just swore a bunch.

The guy I went with got his on his shoulder. It took half an hour. He was ready to throw up and pass out.

#16

Day one after the tattoo, after I had been in the shower, and had removed the bandage.

#17 last one for now

Day two after the tattoo. Again in the morning. It have started to scab over, and it's shiny because I've just applied some lotion that will help it heal better

This one took about 1 hour 15 minutes from start to finish, and I didn't even swear at all. I just held it back! lol

I absolutely HATE the scabby stage...
He recommende a skin scare product that actually makes the scabbing less. It's like it's only paper thin, so it's not to bad by now

That's a sweet looking tat... still looks painful, though...
Thanks for the compliments. And it's actually not to painful anymore. the blushing have started to fade even more by now, and will probably be gone completly soon.
