Karen sat in first class in the American Air Lines 747 going to Hawaii. At her side was a suitcase filled with her best friends things who had died in a car crash. She was taking them to Melissa's widowed Father. It had to be the hardist thing that Karen had ever done. A tear slipped out of her eye again which she dabbed with a hanky. She looked out the window not really seeing the fluffy white clouds and blue of the sky. Philip Geer what will I say to you about Melissa. Will you want to talk about her or just take the suitcase and dismiss me.

The sound of an intercom announced their arrival and Karen put on her seatbelt for the landing. She wondered if Melissa's Father would even be there for a woman he didn't even know. She had to get herself together before she met the man. After all his loss was deeper then her own. Before she knew it the plane had landed and it was time to leave the plane.

Karen followed the other passengers as if in a trance, clutching Melissa's suitcase tightly in her hand. He went to the area to pick up her own suitcase, pulled out the handle and let it roll behind her. She walked out into the airport proper wondering where she should go. She stopped walking and just stood looking around thinking this was a mistake. What did he say wait by the big clock, she looked around and saw a clock like no other, that must be the one he meant. She walked to it and stood again looking around

He wasn't sure he wanted to meet her. "Hell I don't even know my daughter any more". He said to himself, "not after that bitch of her mother took her away when she as only 5. She would've been around 18 by now," he thought. He had no idea what she grew into, as he never heard from his wife ever again. Not even a picture to see what she looks like.

Here he is now at the airport waiting for somebody he never met, delivering his dead daughter belongings that she died in an accident. He felt his eyes get misty as he looked at the time.

He walked towards the big clock where he told her he'll wait for her, but he stopped a little distance away. He wanted to see what friends her daughter had. She got there a couple minutes after him. He looked at her for a moment. She was very pretty and young.

"Why she's just a kid, no older than my daughter would've been, what is she doing flying half way around the world, delivering dead people belongings." he said to himself.

Karen didn't see him coming as she was looking the other way. "Excuse me miss, are you Karen." he asked.

Karen was looking toward a restaurant when she heard a deep male voice. She turned quickly to the sound, her long blonde hair sprayed out a bit and was not prepared to see a dark haired very good looking man. She had thought Melissa's Father would be old like her Dad had been.

"Yes, Karen, Karen Sitty, are you Phillip Geer"

She held out her hand, her crystal blue eyes looking straight into the eyes of the man who must be Melissa's Father.

"Melissa"

Karen's voice cracked as she fought for control, she swallowed a few times.

"Melissa was my room mate, she worked at the newspaper as a copy girl and I am the editor. There is a difference in our ages but we hit it off right away and she was a wonderful friend to me"

She cleared her throat as she had not meant to say so much, the poor man must think I am an idiot to babble so she thought.

Karen lefted her left hand, it still clutched Melissa's suitcase tightly as she brought it towards him a stray tear slipped out of her eye. She looked down embrassed by her show of emotions in front of this poor man who had lost his daughter.

He was rather surprised when she said there was a difference in their age between Melissa and her. "She can't be that much older than Melissa was." He thought. He felt something within as he looked into the most beautiful
crystal blue eyes he has ever seen.

"Yes. I'm Philip Gear, how're you do Karen." He took her extended hand with his and listened to her talking about Melissa and her.
He never let go of her hand for some reason. He didn't know why but he liked to hold it within his, He hadn't realized he still held her hand till Karen handed him Melissa suitcase, He quickly let go of her hand.

He saw a tear in her eyes as he took the suitcase. "Thank you so much Karen for coming from so far to bring Melissa's things..
I'm sorry I'm forgetting you had a long flight and are very tire.

"Come lets take a cab as I didn't want to drive. The airport is always so busy, and the cabs have their own way out of here."

The cab pulled right in front of them as they came out. The driver took care of the bags. Philip opened the rear door of the cab for
Karen to get in, than he went to the other side and got in next to her.

"My home is about 45 minutes away from the airport." He said to her as the cab pulled out. "It's right on the beach. I hope you're not in to much of a hurry to fly back." You can tell me about Melissa as you relax and enjoy Hawaii, as I believe you've never seen Hawaii before.

Karen gave a weak smile to Phillip as he thanked her for Melissa's things. She had a hard time with her friend's death and still was having one. Phillip was so sweet to her apologizing to her because he forgot she had a long flight and was tired. Karen was not exactly tired, it was more depression than anything else.
She wiped at her eye not wanting to be weak in front of Melissa's Father.

"Come lets take a cab as I didn't want to drive. The airport is always so busy, and the cabs have their own way out of here."

She nodded her head at him as he suggested a cab and watched as a cab pulled right in front of them. She watched her bag and Melissa disappear in the trunk of the cab. She got into the cab, Phillip held it open for her and then closed the door. She smiled again, just a little less weakly.

Karen turned toward Phil when he opened the door on the other side of the cab and got in next to her.

"My home is about 45 minutes away from the airport." He said to her as the cab pulled out. "It's right on the beach. I hope you're not in to much of a hurry to fly back." You can tell me about Melissa as you relax and enjoy Hawaii, as I believe you've never seen Hawaii before.

His home wasn't that far away and she smiled as he said it was right on the beach.

"No, I have a month's holiday. You see I have worked for the paper about seven years now without time off. They are being very sweet to me as they know how close Melissa and I were. I have been working there since I was 18. I started as did Melissa as a copy girl. I would like to see Hawaii if you don't mind spending time with me when your not working. By the way, what is a good hotel, here, I need to find a place to stay"

Philip Saw Karen's tears and knew how she felt. Although He didn't know his daughter as she grew up. He wished he had the chance. He would've love to have a daughter. He put his hand on Karen's shoulder. "I Know how you feel Karen, I wish her mother had let her come here. I've thought about her for a very long time'. He said as his eyes began to get misty.

During the car ride Karen told Philip that she worked at a news paper and that's where they go to know each other and became best fiends. "I see replied Philip you've known each other for 7 years., you said you started at 18? That makes you 25 Karen." He said. "I thought you were 20 at most" he told her. Karen smiled showing perfect white teeth.

"There is no need for you to stay at a hotel Karen Save your money. He told her after she asked at which hotel she could stay at. You'll be staying at my house. I wouldn't have it any other way. There is of course if you don't mind staying with me, if so I couldn't very well force it on you.

She looked at Philip with a surprised look on her face but he could tell she was pleased. Karen never had the chance to answer as the cab pulled in front of a lovely almost new two story house.

As Karen realized that Phillip never met his daughter, her heart filled with sorrow for him her hand went to his own as it rested on her shoulder, her crystal blue eyes show great compassion for him.

"I am so sorry Phillip, I did not know you did not know Melissa. I cannot imagine her Mother not letting you see your child. I suppose you don't know that her Mother died in that same accident"

A strange look came upon Phillip's face and they rode in silence for awhile until he change the subject. He calculated Karen's age and gave her a lovely compliment.

"Oh no, we knew each other a year but I worked for the newspaper for 7 years. Melissa worked under me and we got along so well that when a room mate of mine got married, I asked her if she would like to room with me, she was in the need of a place to live and my ranch is quite big"

"I thought you were 20 at most"

Karen smiled broadly showing him perfect white teeth.

"Why thank you Phillip, that is a lovely compliment"

Her spirits was suddenly a lot more lighter, she listened to his next words with surprise.

"There is no need for you to stay at a hotel Karen Save your money. You'll be staying at my house. I wouldn't have it any other way. There is of course if you don't mind staying with me, if so I couldn't very well force it on you.

Before Karen could answer him the cab stopped in front of a lovely two story house. Karen smiled as Phillip opened his door and hurried to open her door.

"Thank you Phillip"

She slipped out of the cab door and walked to the rear of it as the driver and Phil settled the bill and went to the trunk to the luggage. Phillip lead the way into his home and Karen look around liking what she saw.

"You have a lovely home here, Phil"

"You're very welcome Karen." He replied to her smiling. He helped her with the luggage and Karen fallowed Phil inside
his house. Phil was glad to see the look on Karen's face as she looked around the house.

"Glad you like my house Karen. I've built it with my own two hands I have you know." He told her smiling.

I do hope you'll decide to stay here Karen. I think it will be wonderful to have a beautiful young lady here for change, it would like having a daughter. He bit down on his lip. He wasn't sure if it was the right thing to say, but. He said it and couldn't take it back now.

"I'm sorry Karen. I don't know why I said that." He looked at her apologizing. why don't I get you a nice refreshing drink and give you a chance to think what you would like to do. why don't you look around or go in the back. you'll be able to the rest of the island and the ocean.

Karen listened to Phil say he built this beautiful house himself and was amazed.

"You did a wonderful job, I cant imagine making anything as beautiful as this house"

Phil again asked her to stay with him and said it would be like having a daughter in his house. Funny thing was that she did not think of him as a Father figure. He was very handsome and young looking. He told her to think it over as he went and got her a drink. He himself couldn't figure out why he had said it and apologized.

"There is no reason to apoligize Phil, but do you want to know something, you do not look old enough to have had a grown child of Melissa's age"

He smiled at her and went to get the drink he had promised. She walked toward the back of the house taking in the beauty of each room until she got to sliding doors that opened onto a desk. As she walked to the banister she gazed out to the beauty of the island and to the ocean beyond. The blue of the sky reflected in her crystal blue eyes.

Phil came back to find Karen was not where he left her. he looked around inside than went toward the back an saw her standing by the banister looking into the ocean and the islands. He stood watching her. He couldn't help himself as his eyes fallowed the shapely legs, and the soft swells of her round hips narrowing into a small waist.

"Ha! There you Karen." he said as he handed her drink of Hawaiian punch. It's very beautiful isn't it. he said looking at her with a smile.

Karen turned to the sound of Phil's voice, her crystal blue eyes looked into his.

"It is so beautiful here, Phil almost gives you the feeling that you belong here. I am going to have a hard time leaving here. Just so gorgeous and peaceful, a perfect place to heal"

She took the drink from Phil's hand, their hands barely touching and yet she felt something akin to electricity.

"Yes it is very beautiful indeed." He replied to Karen, "that's why I never left here." Karen my offer still stand. You can stay here for as long as you like.

Phil was close to Karen and noticed how pleasant her scent was. He didn't know why but he felt drawn to her.

He felt a warmth run through his blood, when she touched his hand as she took the drink.

Karen smiled at Phil and turned back to look at the view with her glass in her hand.

"I don't think there is a more perfect view then this one and I can see why you never left her"

Karen was thinking over Phil's offer and then she turned to him and smiled.

"I will take you up on your offer Phil, this setting is to perfect to give up. We can discuss Melissa better if I am here with you. By the way did you meet Melissa's Mother here"

"It wasn't a very hard decision to make really," he said. "I love it here and when my wife left with Melissa, I just stayed here.

Phil was delighted to hear Karen saying she decided to stay. "Karen that's wonderful. You're going to love it here I'm sure of it." He felt like hugging her but he thought better of it and didn't .

When Karen asked Phil where he met his wive, he thought for a few minutes. "Why not tell her." He never did tell anyone about himself before
He thought. May as well.

"Yes as matter of fact. We did meet here. I used to surf allot and she came here on vacation. one day we had very big rolling waves great for surfing. I was lucky and hit one at the right time, and rode it inside the tunnel till I hit the beach. It was spring break and the beach was full of students. She approached me and asked me if I would teach her to surf. I said yes, I didn't mind.

I was living in a shack at the time and was doing odd jobs for food money. The shack was right there about 20 yards on the right side of the house." He pointed to Karen. She wanted to stay longer but couldn't afford the hotel. I offered her to stay with me if she wanted. She said yes. We made love most of the time she was here.

She came back right before Christmas and showed up here. I could see why she came back. She was pregnant. I had no doubts, I knew it was mine as she was a virgin when we made love the first time. We got married right away. She was never the same with me. she never told me what bothered her. I could only guess. Perhaps she had plans for herself and gotten pregnant, and all went up in smoke.

Something I never told her, was that most of the land around the shack was left to me by grand father. I was still living in the shack waiting for the right time. One day I had to go see some people about the land, when I got back she wasn't here, her clothes and the baby's were all gone. I looked and enquired about her, never got any leads at all. after a few years I gave up and went on with my life."

Karen did not say anything as Phil spoke of his decision to stay here but her crystal blue eyes show sympathy for a hard fought decision like that. She wondered what kind of a woman would stop a Father from seeing his daughter. She could have at least let Melissa visit during vacations.

Her eyes sparkled with happiness at how happy he was that she had decided to stay with him, her smile was broad as she had never seen someone as happy as he was just because she was staying around.

When Phil spoke of how he met his x wife, Karen could see the excitement in his eyes as he spoke about surfing. She could almost imagine taking that wave with him, he explained it so well.

That his x wife wanted him to teach her seemed strange but exciting. She had never met the woman but by some telephone calls she had intersepted for Melissa she seemed not to be interested in fun. Karen mentally shook herself as it wasn't nice to think ill of the dead.

As Phil began to tell the story of how he and his x wife got together, Karen imagined how it must have been. He pointed to the spot where his shack once stood and she smile. He seemed to be caught in the past as he looked out to sea and mentioned she wanted to stay longer but hadn't enough money. When he mentioned they made love all the time Karen blushed and looked down but he did not notice as he was lost in his memories.

Karen was surprised at his candor when he told her his x wife showed up pregnant and that he knew it was his because she had been a virgin when they first made love. She could not imagine not living here happily but if Phil could not find out why then it was too late now. She felt sadness for a wasted love that could have probably been forever.

Karen was amazed at how much prime property Phil owned and shocked at the way Melissa's Mother had left him. His eyes finally settled back on her own which looked somwhat angry.

"She was a fool to leave you, Phil"

It was apparent that Karen meant what she said, her expression and those beautiful eyes could not be disbelieved. A silence engulfed them as they looked into each other's eyes.

Phil didn't know why he told Karen all about his X wife. He felt something about her that compelled him to tell her. Perhaps it was time he told someone. He kept it inside for nearly 15 years. Now he felt relief He never has to think abbot it. He was glad he told Karen.

He smiled at Karen. "He name Jenny. Karen. I just realized I never mentioned her by name. I never blamed her for wanting to leave here. I never forgave her for taking Melissa and not telling me where she was." He thought for a moment. You have to understand Karen. I don't mean to defend what she did. at the time I was just doing odd jobs, enough to buy food and clothing. We lived in the shack we didn't have much of anything. I guess she just couldn't live under those conditions."

I didn't get to sell some of my land till about 7 or 8 years ago. that's when I built this house.

It's all in the past now Karen. It'll be good to have you around till you can no longer stay. For me you can stay for as long as you like. He looked into her eyes as she looked into his. the attraction was mutual.

Karen realized she stepped over the line but it was too late to take back what she said so she just listened to him.

"I would imagine that what happens between a man and woman is totally their business but Melissa wanted to know you. I know that as a fact as she told me many times about her Father as if she knew you. I had no idea she didn't. Surprisingly, you are so much as she discribed you, so you were always her ideal Father. She loved you and for that I am mad at her Mother. Melissa deserved to know you, to love you and to be with you. She was a wonderful, caring young woman, you would have been proud of her"

Karen nodded her head.

"Yes, we will leave the past in the past where your x wife is concerned but I must tell you about Melissa as that is why I came here, to share with you what I knew of her and I had stupidly thought you would tell me your experiences of her"

Karen's eyes misted over as Phil again told her she was more then welcome to stay and that he was happy she was there. She smiled at him and their eyes met again and Karen felt an attraction to him. She blushed and looked down when she realized what she was feeling for him.

Phil felt slight guilty at what he felt looking Karen after he told her about Jenny. The feeling made him feel warm as he smelled her scent as she was very close to him. he was about to put his arm around her but stopped just in time, She was telling him about Melissa. Phil listen to Karen as she talked. He felt his eyes getting moist, when she said that Melissa described him as if she knew him, and added that he looks exactly how she described him to her. "I guess she had a very good memory," He thought.

" Thank you Karen for being Melissa friend and for coming here. You brought with you more than her things Karen. you brought me Melissa's memory. She was with me always even so she was far away. I never really lost her. You have no idea what that means to me. I will never be able to repay you."

Phil saw Karen face go slightly pink and thought she was feeling emotional, and wanted her make her feel at easy " I'm very happy you came Karen, you're the nearest thing to my daughter. He puts his arms around her, and hugged her to him, Karen went into his arms as if she was waiting for. She felt so good soft warn and he felt slightly aroused, so he let her go, he couldn't let Karen feel it. He was hoping she didn't

Phil was so grateful to hear about Melissa that Karen found herself drawned to him even more. As he put his arms around her she leaned into him feeling the hard planes of his body, her own quickened with a sudden sensation that she was unfamiliar with. When he let go of her suddenly her eyes went to his. Her expressive eyes showing the hurt she felt.

She dropped her eyes relizing she was attracted to him, embrassed by the fact she seemed to want Melissa's Father.

Phil thought what he felt for Karen was the friendship she had with her daughter, Now he knew better. he was attracted to her, perhaps
it was the need of a women, it had been a long time since he held one in is arms. He felt ashamed for being aroused by Karen.

He looked at her to apologize and saw the hurt in her eyes. He didn't know how to repair the damage he had done.

"I am very sorry Karen. I didn't mean to really do that please forgive me. it just happened." He knew one thing for sure. Karen would want to leave here.

Karen if you want to leave I understand. I'll drive you to a hotel if you, or I can call a cab for you.

Karen was surprised by Phil's words and it showed on her face. She didn't think about what she was going to say but just blurted it out.

"I don't want to leave here, Phil, I I don't know whats wrong with me I am having strang feelings for you. I am ashamed of myself thats all"

She put aher hand to her lips relizing what she said.

"Im sorry, truely sorry"

She turned around and looked at the horizon mortified by what she had said and by what she was still feeling.

Phil was very surprised when Karen said she didn't want to leave here. He had been sure she wouldn't never want to remain here not a minute more, socked as she said she had feeling for him.

He was frozen there for a moment till all sank in. She felt the same way as he did. He looked at her as she turned her back to him and looked towards the ocean.

He stepped closer to her and put his hands slowly around he waist. She didn't resist, she leaned into him. he held her against himself. This time he didn't pull away from her as his cock started to get hard. He kissed her neck softly.

"Karen." He said softly 'Sweet Karen"

Karen felt Phil's arm go around her waist and she leaned back into him. Just a little contact she thought and then I will break away. No matter what she was feeling for him she would have to keep this relationship as a friendship. After all he was Melissa's Father.

His words of kindness were followed by arousing kisses to her neck. She moved her head to give him access, it was natural to do so. Still in her mind she meant to break away. Just a little longer she thought but as his kisses rained down on her neck, her breathing quickened and her resolve failed her.

Karen's body felt like no other. He couldn't pull away from her now even if he wanted. her warmth heated his blood. The months without
the touch of a woman didn't help either. he kissed both side of her neck as he moved his hands and placed them on her warm breasts.

She moved her head so that he could kiss more of her neck. Never trying to pull away. He pressed his hips gently into her warm firm ass.
His cock now making a tent into his pants, slid between her warm thighs. He could feel her nipples getting hard under his hands.

He undoes the button of her top and pulled it open, her breasts were slight bigger than they appeared. her hard nipples were poking against her bra. He gently knead them. Karen's body shivered slightly as he paced his hands back on her breasts.

Karen had delayed just a bit to long, passions she had never experienced before overtook her as Phil's lips moved from one side of her neck to the other. His body pressed against her back making her feel safe and protected. His arms went under hers and came in front of her, his hands spread over her breasts adding more excitement to her passions.

Phil pressed even firmer against her back, her legs were slightly apart and she felt something hard between her legs rubbing against her clit though her clothing. A soft moan slipped out of her lips as suddenly the ocean air caressed her breasts and naked skin. A small alarm bell went off in her head but was soon stilled by Phil's hands coming back to her breast and kneading her swollen nipples.

Wetness filled her panties as she pressed back against Phil. Her body moved against his as he pulled her even tighter against him. She groaned from all the sensations she was feeling as her passions soared. She felt a strange kind of weakness as she placed her hands on the sides of his muscular legs and writhed against him.
