A victory for love..

Hi everyone. Some news which has just made my day!

My friend Adrian, probably the closest thing I have to a brother, has just made final arrangements for his marriage. Not too out of the ordinary, except that he is an Australian, living in Australia, and his finacee is from North Carolina, living there. He and his lovely lady met, fell in love and talk daily via the wonderful world of the net, and have both flown to the other's respective home countries to see each other.

This means that:
a) My best friend is getting hitched at 21, an age at which no one really expected him to still be alive, much less in love
b)The wedding will be in the States
and
c) I will be invited, which means I can make a real holiday of it and tour around the country for a few months!!!

Another victory for romance in this stylized, cold age.

firstly mavel tov to your friend and his fiance, i hope everything works out ok, but as too this cold, stylized age stuff, i mean, i think tactitus first noted that about 2000 years ago. all ages are considered cold and stylized, and fucking A at least we have indoor plumbing. so go easy on the Oughts', there treating us pretty good.
