A very short, very bizarre story

This is actually taken from a book of short stories about child psychiatry cases I read today. I'm going to post more tomorrow and credit the fictitious author then. The illustrations are priceless. Most of the stories are longer than this one.

Sally went to the Hospital for a routine checkup.
They screwed up the paperwork, and amputated her left leg.
The End.

Next: Scooter the narcoleptic dog.

Your story amused me and it reminded me of a story I read in a collection of stories either called the "Big Book of Urban Legends" or "The Big Book of Death" where a guy was in the hospital getting a cancerous lung removed.

The doctor was glancing at the xray of the mans lungs after the surgery. The left lung was just horribly ravaged by the cancer and the other one was prefectly healthy.

A nurse came up to the doctor and remarked that she didn't think the lung tghey left in the body was going to last much longer. Seeing it was in a sorry state.

The doctor looked at her puzzled. Only one of his lungs was diseased, where was she getting this idea.

Then the doctor saw it. The writing on the xray was backwards. The xray they had used to perform the surgery had been reversed!

Oopsie! :p

I heard about one of those with brain surgery recently. Scary shit.

Wait until you see the next stories
