Dr. Dan Ford was a young and up-and-coming therapist.
He sat at his desk, reviewing his calendar, after finishing updating some medical notes.

He saw he had another appointment due any minute; Sally Sommers, twenty-six years old, judging by her date of birth on the datafile from her family Doctor, for her first appointment. He’d have to reassure her. Any woman coming for her first exam would be apprehensive, it was only natural, and with him being a man, it probably made their first visit even more nerve-wracking.

His receptionist Alison Powell, was a great asset to his practice. She was polite, smart, efficient and attractive to boot. She had a way with people and seemed able to put patients at ease.

Alison knocked on the door of his Office and peeked in.
“Hi Doctor. Miss Sommers is waiting in Reception to see you.”
“Thank You, Alison. Send her in please.”

Dan called up the datafile on his computer and made sure it was ready to receive new notes. Just then his door opened and in stepped a very nervous looking redheaded woman.
He stood and extended his hand.
“Hello, Sally. I’m Dr. Dan Ford. Please come in and take a seat.” He said, indicating a chair next to his desk.

He pulled up the legs of his chinos slightly, so they didn’t crease as he sat. His pale blue shirt, hinting at firm muscles beneath.

As she sat he pulled the keyboard toward him.
“I just need to run through some standard questions, OK?”
He didn’t actually wait for a reply, and started asking.
  • What brings you to me?
  • Any high blood pressure?
  • Any heart complaints, or shortness of breath?
  • Any headaches, or sudden light-headedness?
  • Mood swings?
  • Any issues with alcohol or substance abuse, or addiction?

He noted down her responses, in a clinical manner, which he had to as he was a Doctor!

As he finished taking his notes, he smiled and looked at Sally. She really was attractive. He wondered whether she was single?

“OK, Sally. I need to start the physical part of the exam now. We start with taking your blood pressure, and heart rate, then I weigh you and measure your height and waist, hips, and chest measurements, for the record, you understand.”

He paused before continuing.
“Then I’ll ask you to sit in the easy chair over there.” He indicated a lush burgundy leather wing-back chair; “and I’ll get you to tell me more about how I can help you.”

He smiled in a friendly manner. Although his certificates lining the Office walls told of his various exams and Masters’ & Doctorate degrees in Psychology and Physical Therapy.

Sally Sommers wait in a really comfortable chair in probably one of those more nicer waiting rooms she had ever been in. Her friend Julie from work had told her of this place, and had made her this appointment. She was skeptical. She wasn't sure exactly what kind of Doctor this man was, but apparently he was good and got results. Whatever that meant.

She had come straight from work, so she was still in her business professional attire of black slacks, with a light blue patterned blouse. Her heels added a few inches to her petite 5'4 height, but she had had grown accustomed to them in her line of work.

Sally was a Project Manager at an engineering firm. She worked with, and was in charge of men and was surrounded by them almost constantly. Julie was her only friend that she had allowed herself to have due to her busy and demanding lifestyle. Her career took up most of her time and she never got any time to go out, have fun or date. And here she was, 26, still single and unable to have much a social life.

Which brought her here, to the office of Dr. Dan Ford. Julie was very discreet on exactly what it was that he did, but said that it was worth it. She had noticed how stressed out Sally had become and said that he was a miracle work. Now that she thought of it, she had had a funny grin on her face when she was telling her about it.

Nervously, Sally waited for the receptionist to call her name, checking emails and sending out messages, managing her team through a big project.

"Miss Sommers?"

Sally looked up as the pretty young receptionist called for her. Smiling back at her warm, genuine expression, Sally got up and followed her through the doors to the office, making sure to turn her phone all the way off so she wouldn't be bothered by work. Inside, was a rather young man, not much older than her, sitting at a desk. This was the doctor? She didn't know what exactly she was expecting, but she imagined doctors were much older than he appeared. And he was very handsome too, she noticed.

"Hello, Sally. I'm Dr. Dan Ford." He said, with an accent, she noted. Smiling she shook his outstretched hand and returned the greeting with a simple "Hello."

She sat down opposite him and answered his questions to the best of her ability.

"What brings you to me?"

"A friend recommended you. Apparently I'm too stressed out for my own good."

She watched him type her replies into his computer.

"Any high blood pressure?"

"It runs in my family, but I haven't had a problem with it yet."

"Any heart complaints, or shortness of breath?"

"No not really. I'm in good shape and haven't had any concerns."

[i"]Any headaches, or sudden light-headednes?"[/i]

"I do get an occasional migraine, but I usually have to just work through it."

"Mood swings?"

"No, not that I can think of."

"Any issues with alcohol or substance abuse, or addiction?"

"No, sir. I do imbibe every now and then, but it's never been abused. I haven't any drugs either."

She replied honestly. She needed a glass of wine pretty much every night to settle her mind down enough to go to sleep, but she was far from being an alcoholic. She had done weed in college, but, being in engineering, never had had time or the money to waste on harder drugs.

She sat there as he finished typing in his computer, waiting for the next step in the process. He described the physical tests, which was all very clinical, and didn't surprise her much. She would happily comply with that, as it was most likely important, medically.

Then he mentioned the easy chair, and her eyes followed his gesture. The chair looked really comfortable and she was half-afraid that she would fall asleep if left in there for too long. She nodded, following his instructions. This seemed like it would be normal for any therapy session, which she was sure this was. He obviously needed to know more about her if he was going to help her de stress.

Dan was glad she had been recommended by a friend.
Just out of principle, he wouldn’t ask who. Anyway, he was pretty sure he knew it was Julie, as she had told him she was referring a friend.

Sally’s answers were all pretty standard, nothing untoward there.
He caught her glance to the easy chair, and suppressed a smile. Many clients expected the full ‘Psychiatrists’ Couch’, but he found it too clichéd. He was trying to put people at ease, not on edge!

“OK – ready to start the measurements?” He asked her with a smile. “Don’t worry, they’re all painless, and it will help me to help you in the long run.”

He pulled out a blood pressure cuff and monitor.
“Can you remove your blouse for me please? It will make it easier to take your blood pressure, and pulse, and then I can also take your chest measurement.”

He waited for her to comply, before fitting the cuff around her arm, just above the elbow and pumped the rubber bulb to inflate it, and before long it was at the required pressure.
He pushed the release button to let a little of the air out, and then waited for the dial to settle.
“Hmmm…very good!” He told her, she was exactly where she should be for her age.
He allowed the cuff to deflate and then removed it, before resting two fingers upon her wrist and looking at his watch, counting her pulse, in the old-fashioned way. Her skin was warm and soft, but still firm with the strength of youth.
“Excellent!” He told her; before reaching for a tape measure, to wrap around her chest.
“Please stand up for me, so I can measure your chest.”
He wrapped the tape around her, apologising for the slightly cold feeling, as he noted the measurement into his computer.
Her busty physique was certainly keeping his attention!
“Great! Can I now ask you to remove your slacks, so I can take the other measurements I need, OK?”

He waited for her to do, admiring the way she revealed herself, as she disrobed. She appeared to be in fantastic physical shape.

He proceeded to measure her waist and hips, measurements, before guiding her across the room to a height scale marked on the wall, and noting that down too, before sliding a scale from under the easy chair.

“Please step on so I can weigh you. Don’t worry – you have nothing to fear. You seem to be in great shape!”

As she stepped in, he was indeed pleased to note her weight was that of an athletic woman in her mid-twenties, and smiled broadly as he tapped the last few keys, and then turned the screen of his computer off.

“Great- all done! You can relax now – feel free to take the easy chair! The robe on the chair is there if you want it, but it’s quite warm in here, so feel equally free to stay as you are. Just drape it over the high back if you don’t need it.”
He indicated it again, encouraging her to relax.
Once she was settled, he began.

“We’re going to try some relaxation exercises. Please close your eyes. I want you to breathe in deeply through your nose and out through your mouth. Hold the breath for a count of seven before breathing out, OK?”

He demonstrated, loudly, so she could hear what he wanted her to do.

“OK, we’ll do ten breaths, in and out. Go.”
He watched as she did as he asked her. As her eyes were closed he watched her impressive chest, with her bra-clad breasts, rise and fall with each breath.

After the ten breaths, he spoke again.
“Well done! Open your eyes. How do you feel? Better?”

He paused before telling her:
“I need to ask some more questions, and I need you to answer honestly, OK? Don’t be embarrassed – remember that I am a Doctor, with your best interests at heart, alright?”

After a brief pause, he added:
"Your friend Julie, who referred you to me – had a similar issue, as you know. Stressful job, not much time to relax, and single. So are you, yes?”

He waited for her to respond.
“So, no-one to unload the day’s stresses and strains onto, and share any intimacy with?”

Again, he waited for her response.

“I am also a qualified massage therapist, and for your next session, I’d like to give you a massage, to allow you to completely relax, and feel just how good you can feel, when I’ve shown you some more techniques to try. Not everything works for everybody, but let’s see what you like, and what you don’t like as much. We can move forward together.
Does that sound good?”

He let Sally agree, and then suggested they meet in the next few days.
