I purchased a plastic bag full of Nativity figures from a craft store that was going out of business this summer. The figures are very tiny; the tallest is about an inch tall with the manger about the size of a tic-tac; made in China of gilded plastic. There are the unsual suspects: the three kings complete with crowns and gifts; two shepherds; one kneeling, one standing and both with hooks; one donkey; a sheep; a lamb; a cow (maybe it's a camel - too small and ill-cast to tell); a creche containing a baby Jesus and here's the odd part - two Marys, they're kneeling in the traditional pose and identical; and no Joseph. Huh?
