A twist on finding the girl in bed with another man...

So, I figure, do a sort of loving wives story with a twist.

Man comes home from work early, and finds his wife in bed with another man.

The twist? The other man is the husband's secret (supposedly) gay lover!

Maybe have it so the husband realizes only after he got married that he was gay (or bi, if it works better for the story) , or got married because it was the thing to do in order to appear straight, something along those lines. So he finds his lover (what do you call a male mistress? A mister?) in bed with his wife, and feels betrayed.

At some point, it's brought up in the ensuing exchange that he doesn't exactly have the moral high ground, and the story develops from there.

thats going to be a challenge, to create the seduction. in a movie sure, but here, around 3,000 words....hard to do. now, an easy way would be that a neighbor moves in and the husband find him self attracted to him (so does the wife), and things start to heat up, first between the wife and husband. well they invite the man over for dinner, and after dinner things really heat up between all 3! sorry, not trying to steal your idea.

Well, I don't know how much seduction we need to work in. I figure the story would start *after* the guy was having the affair with the other man. Maybe, unbeknowest to the husband, the guy and the wife know eachother at THEIR workplace, and hit it off not realizing their mutual friend?

As for concerns about stealing my idea... steal away, I've got too much stuff on my plate.

WHy only 3000 words. Many stories (perhaps even most stories) on here are longer than that. One Lit page is well over 3000 words, and lots of stories run to a second page.
