I wrote a story about a young woman having sex with an older man she had just met on her honeymoon ( A Honeymoon Affair). I questioned whether or not the story would be believed. Two women sent feedback saying something similar had hapened to them; one thinks she had a child by the guy. Much of the feedback called for a sequel, which I am not going to write, and wanted the woman to get pregnant (why, I dunno), so I do think there is a substantial audience for your story.

I agree you would have quite a reader following with this story idea. But I do raise a question.

If a daughter has sex with a father she does not no about, never met, never even heard of, is that incest? I'm not sure. Just asking.

However, after finding out that he was her father, but refusing to give him up, that's when things could get racy for the readers.

I have to add that while I don't really like incest stories, I really don't like the ones where the incest is unintentional. I think part of the thrill when I do read incest stories is that both partners know what they're doing, and throw caution to the wind to do it anyway. If you put in that the two don't know they're related, then I feel like that's sort of non-consensual. So, Tatelou's suggestion that finding out and refusing to give away is excellent. Don't make it a big point in the beginning of the story that she's having sex with her father and not knowing it - what if the sex happens in passing, a casual opening scene, and then later when introduced to her father finds out she's committed the incest. He comes to her and apologizes, but confesses that he's never had better. She moves into his lap and starts to wriggle on his cock, whispering seductively into his ear that she's never wanted anything more than to have him again...something like that

Not exactly the same, but: I have this one cousin. The last time that I saw her, she was 13. Now, recently, I saw her again, and now she is 18. I didn't even recognize her, until she told me her name ....

And he tells her, that when she was a kid, everbody called her "4 eyes", because she wore big, old fashioned glasses.
All the time, the waitress listens quietly, but with a strange facial expression. Then, finally she says "4 eyes ... no one called me like that, since I got contact lenses .... And I still have the scar on my knee ....."

true, in most incest stories, the 'overcoming the taboo' is the turn on. That does not mean, though, that the ' surprise' story plot lacks potential, as long as its the beginning of the story not the end...it can be very interesting to read how they deal with the discovery. It may make for a deeper psychological character driven story than most.

I can agree with that Kind of like why star wars started in the middle to capture the excitement.

Nascar I kind of like your twist as well it is different. But if the woman freaks and leaves and then it would have just been a personal mistake. If she finds out and wants more then it is all good, even if it just excites her after she learns the truth.
