Shortly before the events of The Force Awakens.

Jedha. A planet that had evolved over many decades, but it was a shade of former glory now. Even as people had gathered the last two decades to make use of what little was available. Terraforming helped the matters. A few dome cities and towns lingered on the floating rock that was once a home for resources vital to the creation of lightsabers.

Outside one of the domed cities, a shadow was cast over it. A lot of people would have recognized it as Kylo Ren’s flagship. The dark shuttle with wings turned at a forty-five degree angle was unmistakable. The ship landed inside the city called Azure, after the crystal of that color that was once prominent here.

Suddenly the entrance hatch lowered with a loud, “shhtga!” Five sets of footprints could be heard walking down the metal ramp, four sets were marching in a uniformed fashion. The other was moving at its own pace.
Kylo Ren’s gaze was forward. Flanking him ahead and behind him in a two-by-two formation was a small group of Storm Troopers. “The girl is here. I can sense her. Find her,” Kylo’s modulated voice echoed. The troopers started to move ahead.

Why the group was here was due to one particular person. Kylo did not know her name. Deep in meditation he got a flash of an image. Focusing on the source, he wasn’t sure if it was the girl or something else. However, there was a soft tremble within the force. When the force shook, it meant there was a disturbance. Any person within the force could have been a disturbance, like a stone in a rushing stream.

The water kept flowing around the stone, it didn’t stop the flow, but it forced the flow around it, Every person in the force was like a stone. Right now, there was a stone somewhere in Azure. Kylo was up to find it.

Azure was a city that could have been confused for Mos Eisley in some ways. The structure were a little different.as buildings were made of metal, wood and were a potpourri of materials available by the builder. Most were made of metal, but the people were a cavalcade of different races, ways of life and the like. There was a similar sense of lawlessness except instead of being ruled by Hutts, it was different gangs. The Black Sun did have a good foothold, but they weren’t the only crime organization about.

Troopers began to drag the woman onto Kylo's ship. When they brought the woman before him, his modulated voice came forward. "Leave us. Prep the ship. We leave in three minutes," the troopers nodded and Kylo looked to the woman.

She spoke low to him. A question that he did not wait to answer. "You're beyond a force sensitive. I've felt you within it. No one is left to train you, except me. This is an offer. Leave your world behind, become what you were meant to." Kylo left out the part of what would happen if she refused the offer.

By now the gangplank had started close. "You are not my prisoner. You are my student unless your answer deems a change in your position. The choice is yours," the words were short and to the point. The woman had the illusion of choice and he wasted no time in pointing out it was an illusion.

Kylo extended a hand and forced the woman against a wall where the storm troopers could have sat, and often did. A moment later the seat's safety guard came down. If she didn't know how to properly handle the object then it may as well as have been a restraint.

Troopers went up to their leader, "Prepare for launch. You know the controls," these were not run of the mill troopers of the first order. These were ones that Kylo specifically had assigned to him. They were not personal guard, but they were not that far removed from such a duty. He trusted them, they were exceptional compared to most troopers and Kylo could count on them when needed. However, they were just as expendable as any other should any rally against their programming.

After the troopers left, Kyle sat down in a spot opposite of the woman. He used the force not to restrict the safety measure, but hold it in place. "You can access the force and you're not simply someone that can only nudge. You have real potential, but it is untrained. I'm going to help you. Help you become all that you could have been should we have found you sooner." The Sith paused for a moment before he asked one vital question, "Why do you run from the force?

"Some place where you can train. You can't run from your destiny," Kylo spoke in his robotic voice. A hand pressed to Aranya's forehead. She would ahve felt the heaviness of sleep take her. The man just waited for her to sleep.

"Takes us to Lothal," Kylo told the pilot. by the time Aranya came to, she was in what looked like a base. While she wasn't strapped into a plce. The space she was in was a very sterile place about six to seven hundred square feet. It had all the amenities so a person could have lived on their own. The only thing was the bars in front of the door. There was no exit. This was clearly some kind of cell. On the other side Kylo called out, "You're finally awake."

"The Force doesn't lie. You are the one I seek," Kylo Ren looked toward the woman. "You don't understand what you are. You have the force. You can be a powerful ally. Why do you run from it?" he asked honestly. The mask didn't move, but the face behind it was focused on the woman. The pleading eyes didn't move him.

"I saw that you have everything that equals a mid-sized apartment on Coruscant. You have everything that could be needed. Until you're ready to learn in the force, that is where you will be," Kylo looked to the woman. He knew this was circumstance that she wouldn't have liked. Still, he was more than willing to wait for her to realize matters and admit what she was hiding.
