This one is for Chanaud
OOC: John Ericsson, a former computer wizard with a hair as brown as his eyes that at 35 has stayed in shape thanks to his daily workouts.
IC: It had been a wonderful month at sea for John. He had planned this trip for several years but it wasn't until now that he had the time and money for a six months sailing vacation in the Caribians. The small company he had started ten years ago had developed into a company with a product that had started to draw attention from large companies like Cisco and Nortel. There had been lots of negotiations, but a year ago he had sold his shares for a price that most companies only could dream about. The profit had turned him into a multi-millionaire but hadn't changed his attitude to life, he was still the same guy that he had been ten years ago, the only change was the bank account that made him independent for the rest of his life.
It had been love at first sight, he had searched for her for months and was lost at once when he finally found her. She was a dream come true, a 34 feet beauty that was big enough to handle a ruff sea and still easy to sail for one. John was a guy that usually enjoyed to have lots of people around him but the last years had been running on such a high speed that a couple of months alone was a much needed break. He had no route to follow, the only plan he had was to go from island to island with short breaks in the harbours to find a drink, a shower and some fresh food.
A month at sea had changed his appearance, the pale skin of the former manager was replaced by the tanned skin of a sailor and his daily shaving by once every time he reached a harbour. John's hand brushed against his jaw as if to check the length of his beard, a beard which looked more like he had been at sea for 5 days then the ten that had gone since he left his last harbour. His eyes were focused on the island in front him and if everything he had heard about it was true then he would soon sail into Paradise. Beaches with sand as white as snow, a richness in flowers and birds that could match any other island in the world and palm trees everywhere not to mention a sheltered harbour with the best bar in the Caribians.
John smiled for himself, he would be more than happy if half of what they had said at his last stop was true not that he had any plans to stay for more then a couple of hours there even if it was Paradise.
