Contrarian idea: A man driven to rape (I'd leave the reasons unspecified) encounters someone who likes it. This, needless to say, throws him for a loop and sucks the thrill out of it for him. He's trying to get back to that control thrill and she's just soaking up everything he can throw at her and telling him how good it is. In the end he feels relieved that he didn't hurt another person and she turns him in to the police to get him off the street.

Every time they settle, find friends, family, etc, the need rises up (its their mark) and causes them to destroy what they have. Could be a great chain that covers a long period.

Hmmm... Obviously his evil need would have to be sexually centered and while it could satisfy the loins it leaves the heart shallow and bitter. This very well could be a more challenging chain story! Possible different title: Cain's Distruction or Cain's Downfall?

I wrote a story off of Literotica based on historical fiction and set in the 1930's here in Maine. In a nut shell, this woman became a widow at a young age when her husband was killed in a logging accident in the Great North Woods. It was sort of reversed roles in that this widow-turned-waitress ended up having non-consent sex with a man because of her need to get impregnated.

Is the need a bowel movement? It would be a rather evil need to surprise your very reluctant spouse upon their first very reluctant penetration of your back door with a little bit of high fiber regularity.

I don't see the anal idea really working with the title unless there is a significant moral compunction and pressure to avoid it.

I saw the emphasis more on NEED than on evil.

Something along the lines of Interview with a Vampire and Silence of the Lambs merged. Psychologist talking to a inmate of unspeakable atrocities, with the inmate reading the doctor's body language and non-verbals. Pointing out the subtle tells of frustration and suppressed hunger, the inmate hits on the inner spark that strikes the doctor and (s)he can't shake the image. The seed is planted and grows quickly in the fertile creative mind.

Wrestling with the hunger, fighting off the taboo but unable to resist is appeal, until the NEED is too great to be denied. Acting upon it makes it worse, more consuming. Finally going back to teh inmate only to find him (her [a female Hannibel Lechter... hmmmmm]) dead, and the doctor is now the carrier of this unspeakable need.

I love the interpretation of the title and feel that it really measures up to the topic.
Stories that seem to require that much expression, de-evolution, and manipulation seem to never come out very well from our amateur lips. Hopefully someone is capable!
