Thanks snoopy, I missed this thread last night. I did get to bed a bit earlier than usual, still later than I should have.

Thankyou for putting a smile on my face


Its nice to be able to let down your guard
because life can be so hard
Times of trouble and misery
Go by much more easily
when you have someone to care
someone that is there
I think hearts can mend
for everytime we send
kind words and extend our hands to each other
Even though we are not sister or brother

Most people don't bother
but the world is made a bit better
everytime good people get together
Lifting each other up not tearing down
This can transform a frown
One day happiness will come,
we are all warmed by the same sun
At times we all feel alone in the night
no way to see the light
extending a friendly hand
Isn't like a magic wand
but we can continue on, our journey
and not feel so lonely.

But when are you going to post some of those great poems Lorelei?

I generally don't post my poetry, just what I write at the moment on the thread like I just did here. Sometimes I write poetry instead of just talking because its a better way to express what I wanted to say. So, I do it on the board now and then, put up the spontaneous stuff. Sometimes in my sigline too.
