all the family men go down to Grandpa's "man cave" to watch the game. All the women and kids stay upstairs- the women to cook, the kids to play.
Except each year one woman is designated "serving wench" to fetch snacks and drinks for the guys. Emma has always wondered why they draw straws, so the year she turns 18 she volunteers. Half her female relatives seem relieved, the other half, upset.
