Okay this is going to sound really weird, but I was telling someone today about lit and I referred to the AH as my second family, and I honestly meant it. So many of you have a huge place in my heart (and some of you, I only know my your lit names, but I'm still nuts about you).
I mean, where else can you discuss pornography, writing tips, religion, and politics, get advice about your kids, and ponder death?
And where else will so many people care about your struggles, worry over your breakups, cheer on your triumphs, and applaud your getting laid?

So thanks everyone! s all around.

You know, I've been thinking much the same thing. I mean when it seemed no one else was there, I could always come here and either find support, advice, or just flirt the day way. Not to mention the occational ego boost that's been known to come of visiting here.

A lot of really nice people out there, I don't always agree with them but the world would be a poorer place without them.

I wouldn't say that the AH has turned my life upside down or anything (at least not to this day)... but it has nudged it a fair bit in a positive direction.

I've made a bunch of friends. I consider them good friends, even though I only know about half of them by their real names and faces. One funny thing is that I knew the offline name of some more, but I've forgotten it...and I find that it really doesn't matter. They are the same peeps to me anyway.
