A Street With No Name

I've come upon a street that's neither city nor town.
A street as familiar as yesterday but lost to my distant youth.
The air alight with the notes of a song that rang true, but the rhythm failed to rhyme?
I came upon a street that borne no name.
A name that slipped from my grasp as a wisp .
A faded image of my past ?
Of this street,
The near side, borne shades of promise.
The fore side gave way to awe and wonder.
Where fear took flight on the wings of thunder !
To me, it matters not where this street may wander.
~Ode to a street that borne no name~

Music

I am working on the music for this poem...I can hear the music in my head. In woodwinds. There are no strings or percussions nor brass, just the earth tones of woodwind notes.
Am I going crazi or just crazy or really phucking nuts ?

Go for it before it slips away

A Street

I enjoy a poem the invokes emotion. This poem does that in a way that makes me feel a profound sense of joy.

I wondered if 'borne' was the right word even though dictionaries define it as the past participle of 'bear' I still keep reading it as 'bore' or 'that bears.
