a strange thing happened

I was looking at my new submission and there is only one viewing of it but 5 votes. Is this strange or unusual?

Normal.

Votes update realtime. When a vote happens it's counted and displayed almost immediately.

Views update once every 24 hours. That one view was probably Laurel's.
