Hello everyone!

I am new to writing erotica and very new to this excellent site but just have one little question.

My story is split into 4 parts but is basically just about one day (and then one night) in the characters' lives. I have just submitted part 2 and part 3 is ready to go but I have been hit by doubts.

Part 3 is a continuation of the day and part 4 moves to a different place and time.

I am a little worried that, although the story moves along, part 3 is just "more of the same" of parts 1 & 2.

Can anyone put my mnd at rest that this is OK or should I introduce new characters or places in part 3, which would mean a whole re-write?

Any advice and feedback gratefuly accepted by a lonely writer!

Basically, I think you should go with your heart, if you feel part 3 is lacking something, then maybe it is. It's hard to say without seeing the stories in question but I think you know yourself and your stories best!

Oh and welcome! :D

It's a constant question- My story "The Ballad of Mad Moll' is up to chapter 7- and it's all one single day!
Now, everyone has thakfully gone to bed... i have to come up with a second day's doings...
E.L is right, about going with your instincts. But don't forget that you are reading and re-reading, and your story is familiar to you. If I happen to come along and read it, what seems unexciting and expected to you- may be perfect for the flow of the piece to me.
Your best bet really, is to request a couple of "Beta readers" to give you their opinions.

Thank you!

Hi English Lady and Stella Omega,

Thanks very much for your replies.

I have decided to go with Part 3 and if I receive negative feedback I will take it on board and learn from it.

I love my Part 3 so hopefully this will come across to the readers.

Thanks very much for your advice,
janiexx
