BTW - it was quite a fun table... the one next to ours was somewhat different... they had a San Francisco Blackjack there... yup, a pair of queens...

NEVER hit on a soft 17. The other options are just so much better and smarter.

Unless you're high-rolling and you're not in the anchor seat and you want to double-down and impress the chick at the end of the table and you haven't seen a four of any suit in ages...then go ahead.
