Hold it too close to your eye and it fills the whole world and puts everything out of focus. Hold it at a proper distance and it can be examined and properly classified. Throw it at your feet and it can be seen in its true setting, just one more tiny bump on the pathway to life.

Is that true? I felt that I should give credit to the "author"...but now it seems that "Celia" did not.

This is very, very true. Thank you for reminding me of this truth. Beleive it or not...I needed to read this, this morning.:) :rose:

It must be kismet Curious2C...because I have not started a thread here in a very, very long time.

Strange how life works sometimes. All through mine there have been times when I had to have something, or needed something said, or someone else needed something, and one way or the other...without knowing why...it was provided. Makes one think about this world. (if one dwells on it for any length of time that is)
Kismet? Deja-vu? Circle of life? Don't really know. I do know that it can and does happen.:)

It's our collective consciousness. We are all connected to everyone and everything else, seen or unseen. There are no coincidences...

Which would really explain those sayings...like...'What goes around comes around'. There have been times in my life where I had a certain 'feeling' about something. Following through on it has usually been the right thing to do. NOt a big deal...just little things usually, a word here or there, a hand, a bit of praise, what ever 'felt' right. The wonders of what happens afterwards...THAT is interesting. How someone will brighten up, positively glow, or how they will smile, it amazes me at times still. Just a feeling, act on it and bingo!

I have always believed that we are all more connected than some think. Someday's more than others.

It does rather explain a lot of loose ends. We cannot exist separate from the whole. Humans are the only species that try to fight against this, thinking the world was meant for us for us to dominate.

I think the dualistic approach to life, particularly the separation of spirit from matter, is the cause of many problems. If we treated all life as interconnected and adopted a more animistic world paridigm we wouldn't be at such odds with each other. We certainly wouldn't be worse off...

But back to the point... Every thought you put out there, conscious or not, causes an effect. Hopefully you attract what you need, as in this case. :)
