The current newsletter put out by the Sebor Absinth co. has put my poem " Absinth Makes the heart Grow Fonder" in it.
it's not a big deal or anything..it's an email newsletter
but...it's kinda cool.
I can't link the newsletter it's self , it's subscription only I guess, but they do have it listed in the archives here:

Thanks Anna
it is Nothing but...it's the first thing I've ever put anywhere but here or another poetry page.
( of course I feel like Steve Martin in The Jerk..
" The new phone book's here! The new phone book's here! This is the kind of spontaneous publicity I need! My name in print! That really makes somebody! Things are going to start happening to me now.")

:D I love that movie... I've seen it so many times, but still end up laughing my ass each time I watch it—it's a real classic.

By the way, congratulations on having a poem published. I think that's just awesome.

Very cool

Congrats, Tath! A well deserved honor for a well written poem.

As I remember, Steve Martin's publication in the phone book attracted the attention of a homicidal maniac. Lets hope you are more fortunate!

Adding my two cents (they add up eventually)

Congratulations Tath, I am glad to see you are spreading it around :D

Congratulations Tath!

In the phone book huh? Did they spell your name right?..

:D

What the hell...as long as they get your number right....;)

I'm happy for you...:rose:

Congrats, Tath, I'm not surprised your poem was accepted, it's a winner. I'm no Absinth drinker but I love the poem. TY for the e-mail, I've bookmarked the site

My two cents are late so you can charge me interest and take an extra one. ;)

Way to go Monkey Man! I am sure it's the first of many.

Cool. :)

I went to the site and checked out your poem, so I felt compelled to check the rest of the site out too. Fascinating stuff. But what the hell are the weird spoons for?

Absinth is a bitter drink.
The spoons were for placing a sugar cube on, over your drink, and either disolving it into the absinth with water, or, soaking it with the absinth ( which is 110 proof) and burning it so the caramelized sugar dripped into your drink
in both cases to sweeten it.
