Alexis was 19 and lived alone with her 23 year old brother.. there parents were killed in a car crash, so they took over there parents estate and decided to help each other with the bills and house payments.. Alexis was a part time student and model, as for her brother he was a full time construction worker... all him and Alexis ever seemed to do was fight and blame each other for there parents death, Alexis was still grieving and her brother had no idea about it mostly because Alexis hardly talked to anyone except to argue. Deep inside Alexis loved her brother, but fought that as well, cause she hated him as well...

I hate working overtime like this... Larry thought to himself as he got out his car and leaned against it, shutting his eyes while the cool night air caressed his sweat-soaked skin and offering some relief - it became more apparent now than ever that he needed to get the air-conditioner fixed.

Running a hand through his messy mop of dark brown hair, his icy, dark blue eyes settled on his sister's car beside his. Alex was home already, but hell, that was to be expected when his boss kept them until almost 8 PM to finish off the last part of the building. His job wasn't the worst in the world - it paid well and the constant labouring in the sun had given him a fairly well-muscled physique and even tan. Sighing, he hoped they'd be able to get through one night without incident...

...Of course, THAT resolution went right out the door when he saw the envelope sticking out the mailbox. Ripping it open, he felt his exasperation and annoyance grow with every line, his aching body refusing to let his usual patience absorb this newest development.

He stomped inside the house and up the stairs to Alex's room, not even knocking before he wrenched open the door and brandished the letter angrily at her.

"Alex, what the hell is so hard about getting the cable payment mailed on time? There's a mailbox right outside your college. Goddamnit, now I've got to take time off tomorrow to get this sorted out and we'll have to pay the connection fee again."

She had a long day at school she had exams out the ass, and to boot her modeling job made it twice as hard to concentrate, she sighed and laid against her pillows studying, when she heard her brothers car pull up she felt bad that he had to work overtime a-lot, but she knew what it was like as well to work hard.

She hoped Larry wouldn't be in a bad mood she had made dinner and kept his in the oven so it would stay warm for him, she tried to do as much as she could as well, but she was a girl as well.. and young also.

Her long legs were stretched out, and she was wearing a tight tank-top when she heard the door slam wondering what had happened but not daring to leave her room to ask.

Then again she wouldn't have to either, she heard her door open and in burst her big brother. ''Do you mind?'' She asked irritated.

She caught the letter he threw at her.... and opened it...she felt bad instantly but she did remember mailing it.

''Who said you had to take care of it, I can do it!'' She knew what he would say. ''And I did mail it I don't know what happened.'' She said truthfully.

"I have to take care of it because the account is in my name," He replied irritably, his shirt sticking to his body and showing off a chest that most men wouldn't mind having and that the majority of girls wouldn't mind having against them. Being sticky and warm like this always made him even more crabby. "And if you say you mailed it...Then I guess I believe you. Maybe we should look into one of those direct bank payments or something - this isn't the first time our payments have gone missing in the mail."

He kneeled beside the bed and gave her a short kiss on the cheek in greeting, the stubble on his own scraping her soft skin as he pulled away.

"I didn't mean to snap, it's just been a long day."

''Oh right sorry.'' She mumbled not thinking of that part, ''You know we can get it in both our names and then you wouldn't have to take any time off and I could do it for us.'' She said looking at him, she was still angry, but wouldn't let it get to her, because her brother had, had a hard day and she could see that. ''I could set some accounts up on the computer and then we can pay by credit.'' She said looking at him.

Her heart seemed to leap when he kissed her on the cheek. ''I made dinner, when your ready, its in the oven.'' She said softly and smiled at him a little, there arguments never lasted to long, but they had more serious ones, cause of Alexis being 19 he was still responsible over her until she was 21 one of her parents wishes, so it made her brother more protective.

''I can see that.'' She said referring to his body, but he did look good although he didn't notice it in himself that often.

"Thanks," He said, thinking of the dinner and smiling in anticipation as his stomach growled hungrily. "And the payment thing sounds like a plan. I'll go eat after I take a shower and get into some clean clothes, I smell like a gym sock that's been sitting in the sun for a few weeks - I'd like it if you could join me."

Standing, Larry looked at her and found himself lingering maybe just a little too long on her firm legs and breasts that were accentuated by the tight top. Shaking his head, he exited and made his way into the bathroom.

Standing in the shower, he looked down in some surprise to see that the sight of his sister had him sporting a slightly-harder cock.

"What the hell's up with that?" He asked quietly to himself, before deciding to just brush it off and carry on showering. No need to go looking for trouble where there probably was none.

She looked him over, deep inside she had feelings for her brother that were feelings that she should never ever have for him, but her heart beat out her mind, she knew that was part of the reason they fought so often. ''I'd like that.'' She said why did she feel like she was agreeing to go on a date with Lawrence.

She watched as he walked out of the room as she pulled a baggy tee shirt over her to tight clothing and slipped on her slippers pulled her hair back and made her way to the kitchen to await her brother.

She got dinner out and set the table. She took a long deep breath as if she were nervous when the phone rang, she answered it and it was a girl calling for her brother she felt anger boiling and then realized hes your brother why do you care.

She sat at the table wrote the message down and then got a bottle of water from the fridge.

Now freshly shaved and smelling a lot better, Larry came down dressed in a white vest and black shorts, neither doing a lot to hide his frame but it was only his sister - they might argue a lot, but they were still fairly comfortable around each other.

"Smells good," He said, coming into the kitchen and getting himself a can of Coke before sitting down opposite her. "So, what had my talented sister made for me tonight?"

Alexis smiled when her brother walked into the room. ''You had a phone call.'' She said handing him the paper with the message on it. ''Laura.'' She said softly.

''I made Chicken ala king.'' She said gently with a smile sipping on her water... wondering why a girl was calling him so late for , then again it was none of her buisness after all.

Larry glanced at the name and idly folded the note and slipped it into his back pocket. Laura was his supervisor, and no doubt wanted to tell him that they were going to work overtime again tomorrow. Just great...

"Man, I only now realise how hungry I am," He said, getting himself some of it out of the oven and sitting down again, grinning at her. As much as they argued and as unreasonable as she sometimes was, he still loved her. "So, how are the studies going, sis?"

Stop it she kept telling herself, this is your brother no reason to be worried or like she should even care if any woman are calling him he was after all a grown man.

She smiled as she looked over at him. ''They are going well.'' She said softly. ''A little stressful but it will work itself out.'' She said looking at him gently. She took a long deep breath, ''I made plenty eat all you want.'' She said, before speaking again. ''After dinner I am going out for a while..'' She looked at him more seriously now.

Larry quirked an eyebrow at her, swallowing his mouthful of chicken before trying his best to phrase his response as tacfully as possible. "Are you sure you should be going out with all these tests you have this week, Alex?"

He left "Especially with that sheep molestor who, if you ask me, is just looking for a quick screw..." unspoken, referring to the guy she had been seeing the past few weeks. Maybe it was just being the over-protective brother, but...He seriously didn't like the guy.

She noticed that look upon his face and gave him her own look back. ''I know, but I need to get out I have been staying in this house all week studying for these exams.'' She said looking at him... ''I won't be late.'' She said with a shrug wondering what he might say to that.

Then she noticed he was thinking of something and wondered what it could be, she knew he hated the guy she was dating right now it was nothing serious Alexis wasn't the sleep around type of girl anyway... she wanted it to be love when she did. Plus she wanted a man like Lawrence strong, powerful, hardworking... wait what was she thinking.

"It's already late," He replied, indicating the clock on the wall behind her, which read 9:30 PM. "Look, I understand how you feel - I was a student myself and you want to go out and enjoy your life, but sometimes, unfortunately, you just have to knuckle down and forget about it for a while and focus on your work."

Larry paused for a few seconds to take another bite, and also to try and figure out how he should tell her about the rumours he had heard at the site today. Her boyfriend's brother was a co-worker of his, and had made a passing remark about how his brother was bragging about having two girls, one always hot and eager to please and the other almost ready to crack.

"And it'll do you good to stay away from Mark for a while. That guy's not kosher, I can feel it."

''You are not that old now Larry, besides 9:30 isn't late 2 am is late.'' She said with a slight laugh... she wasn't sure if he was saying she couldn't go or not as she finished her own small plate of food. Larry usually got his way in keeping her home when he didn't want her to go out, but tonight wasn't going to be one of those nights either.

There he was thinking again, she wondered what thoughts were running through his head lately. She sighed and looked over at him...

''I don't judge the girls you bring home.'' And Larry did date alot, but he was good to all his girlfriends, and Alexis had known that. ''I am not going to do anything stupid anyway.''

"Alex, please...Just listen to me this one time, okay? That guy's going to break your heart, I know it," He cast around for an idea, then hit upon one. "Take the night off, but then let's hang out together - we haven't done that in ages, and besides, have you even watched any of those DVDs you bought last week? You can pick which one."

''Fine he breaks my heart I get over it.'' She said looking at Lawrence more serious. ''How about this then, I hadn't even planned on going out with him tonight I was meeting Marie, you know my best friend... the one you had that crush on.'' She looked at him skeptical. ''I am still going to go out Lar.'' That was her nickname for him anyway. ''But I promise, you we can hang out Saturday, maybe catch a movie or such.'' She said gently, knowing he would get angry, he worried about her grades, and her well being.

Larry gave a vicious shrug, verbalising pretty much everything he wanted to say. Eating his chicken, he said a little strained: "It's your life, I guess...You want to mess it up, go ahead."

''Jesus Larry you make it like I am some big screw up.'' She said looking at him before standing and taking her plate and washing it. ''I am only going out for a few hours if that.'' She said looking at him she was angry now, and that was the last thing she wanted.

"Whatever...Just try to not wake me up when you get in." Larry stood up and knocked his chair back in, before heading back up to his room. Inside, he stripped down to his boxers and collapsed onto the bed, something he had been wanting to do the whole day...Only now he was way too wound-up to even enjoy it.

Why can't you understand, Alex? I promised mom and dad I'd look after you, and you keep talking about how hard these tests are. I just want you to do well...

Alexis had thought in her mind she wouldn't let Larry ruin her night and that she would go out regardless, but now she didn't even want to go anywhere, she was to angry and mad so she called her friends and told them to forget it.

Glancing at her over the top of his book, Larry's eyes widened a bit when he saw her and I'll be damned if those thoughts about his baby sister from earlier didn't come rushing back, forcing him to discretely cross his legs as he lay, lest she see the rapidly-pitching tent in his boxers.

"Why is it so hard for you to understand that I just want what's best for you? Believe it or not, Alex, despite the impressive amount of times you've been an utter bitch to me, I still love you with everything I have - I don't want to fight, I hate it, but sometimes there's no getting through. You're all I have left after mom and dad died, so you'll have to excuse me if I just want to make sure my little sister makes something of herself."

She noticed he was reading he did that a lot he was smart a lot smarter than her and he didn't even have to work at it, it just came naturally. Maybe she shouldn't think things about her brother she realized half the time thats why she was ignorant to him because her feelings were wrong to have.

''I am glad you see me as a utter bitch... but lets get something straight Lar I am not the only one around here that can be mean and ignorant, you think that just because I am going out I am going to mess my whole life up.. well it doesn't work like that I know I am younger than you, but Jesus I am still a grown woman.'' She caught his grin on her being a grown woman.

You definitely have grown... He thought quietly to himself as he took in her body again, his legs crossing even more now as he hoped she wouldn't come closer - that would be a whole new kettle of fish right there.

"I never said I was the good boy, hell, I know I can be a mean bastard sometimes. I don't care if you go out, but do you really think it's such a good idea to do it during mid-terms? That's the only reason I'm being uptight. Just think about it, Alex - you've got a calculus exam the day after tomorrow. Is getting blitzed and staying out until the morning hours really a good way to prepare?"

Her perfume she was wearing was strong, but her brother looked even stronger, jeeze Alex get it together for crying out loud hes your damn brother.

''Larry who said I was going out to get drunk you ever think maybe we were going to a movie, or perhaps staying in and watching a movie... I am not a drunk, yes I like to party but I do know when not to... forget it anyway I am not going so thats that.'' She said before leaving his room and slamming the door.

She went to her room turned on the light and the radio and crawled into bed with her studies.
