Hi All,
I request feedback for all of my stories, but six months ago I was particularly keen to hear from as many people as possible after stepping outside of my comfort zone with a story called Jake's Progress.
I am delighted to say that I've received more than 100 emails and comments - and many of them have been constructive and supportive. I would like to publicly thank every single one of you who took the time to send me their thoughts, views and suggestions (even the physically impossible one I received from 'anonymous' in Canada...).
Whilst here, I must also thank everyone - almost 400 of you - who cast votes for the story (and at a much appreciated average of 4.73) , and to those 100,000 of you who have viewed it.
To the other authors on Lit, I would like to remind them that the readers here are, by and large, sympathetic and supportive, but that their views are still very important. Jake's Progress would never have come into being without the feedback and support I have received here.
My sincere thanks to you all.
