Forgive me, please, if I indulge in a bit of reminiscence but I suddenly realized that on the 30th it is the third anniversary of my arrival in Literotica. I started out in the Chat Room and by hanging around in the Stories and Authors Room I discovered the literature department.

I wrote and submitted a couple of stories feeling comfortable because I’d been writing privately since I was young and then I discovered the poetry and tried my hand at that. I’d never written any before although I’ve always enjoyed reading it and hearing it read. Now my collection – in here and privately – numbers in the hundreds.

Since my arrival I have learnt so much from the writers in here. Never having attended classes in poetry writing doesn’t seem to matter, I can glean what others have learnt and passed on. I have collected many informative and interesting sites book marked for future reference.

I still have a lot to learn and will continue to do so, I hope. I, too, want to thank Laurel and Manu for this great site and all the poets I’ve met and come to care for here, each one of you is unique and wonderful.

I endorse what everyone else has said, but I do wish our WebLords would upgrade to a newer version of vBulletin. Maybe they can't afford the downtime to switch, but there are some neat improvements available!

(And I wish I didn't have to "view subttions".)
