A Simple Question

It is amazing how a simple question can cause a complex lie to collapse like a house of cards. The simple question was asked by Bill O'Reilly of the Fox News Channel, and it was addressed to two Democrats. He asked what has Hillary Clinton ever accomplished.

The two Democrats immediately sidestepped the question and started reciting their talking points in favor of Hillary. But O'Reilly kept coming back to the fact that nothing they were talking about was an accomplishment.

For someone who has spent her entire adult life in politics, including being a Senator and then a Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has nothing to show for all those years — no significant legislation of hers that she got passed in the Senate, and only an unbroken series of international setbacks for the United States during her time as Secretary of State.

Wait are we attempting to claim that what is quite possibly the most powerful woman in politics has accomplished nothing? Why isn't being elected enough in and of itself?

- Why isn't being elected enough in and of itself?

We elect people to accomplish something, if they accomplish nothing we can assume they lacked the leadership skills or they are just another Wall Street/Establishment Shill.

Who's going to challenge Hillary from the Progressive Wing?

Republicans don't. They elect people to halt any and all progress. That being beside the point I have no idea what her signature work was. Or what could be said of the Bushes or Bill or Reagan. . .wait he was a fairly accomplished actor does that count?

Someone will challenge Hillary even if it's only a token challenge. I think people look back and forget that there was little if any reason to think Obama was going to beat her in '08. Likely the only reason he did was because Hillary sort of politely ignored the upstart because she didn't know she was in a competitive race until she lost.

I been asking peeps that for months

No

Answer

They'll vote for her in spite of the undeniable fact that she's never accomplished a damn thing. She's a lying slimeball, just like The Fraud.

They don't care about their own country...voting Democrat is more important.

She's been a senator and Secretary of State. She has accomplished things.

Perhaps Miles could provide us with a Ted Cruz accomplishment list while we're waiting.

She was elected to the Senate based on personality. She ran from NY, even though she had never lived there. Then she ran for the Dem. nomination for POTUS and lost. After that, she was appointed Sec. of State, where she continued to accomplish nothing positive.

What's wrong with any of that? Elected senator. Win. Serious conteder for POTUS. Win. Secretary of state. Win. I fail to see where there is a downside to her.

Can you tell me what the Bushes, Clinton, Reagan or Carter had? Any given one of them?

She scares a lot of reactionaries shitless. She doesn't have to be any more successful than that in my book. :D

Also, to say she got nothing done in the Senate or State Department or before that in eight years living in the White House (and, not incidentally, being instrumental in getting her husband there) is just crap talk. She obviously has gotten more done constructively than either O'Reilly or a bunch of reactionaries who can't do any better than spiel political bile on a porn Web site discussion board.

I've said it before, but Obama and/or Hillary could personally cure cancer and Vetty and Miles would be here the next day bemoaning the sudden collapse in income potential of oncologists.

you could say it 800 times, but you cant answer

WHAT HAS SHE ACCOMPLISHED?

She was elected Senator strictly based on personality, rather than anything she did. She LOST when she ran for the presidential nomination, as had Dan Quayle and many others before her. She was APPOINTED sec. of State, rather than doing anything to earn the position, and accomplished nothing positive once she took office.

The others you mentioned, except for Bush Sr., who was a member of the House before becoming VP, were all elected state governors before becoming pres.
